Now that the team is almost at the halfway mark of conference play, Let the battle begin. Right now I have to give the edge to Porter-Whittington. I would say their offensive effectiveness is about the same for both duos. But Porter-Whittington defense is much better than Copeland-White. Greg's and Otto's defense their freshman year was stifling at time. Also the duo of Porter-Whittington rebounding was much better than Copeland-White. Has Copeland-White had a double digit rebounding game thus far?
Edge Porter-Whittington.

Where is Greg? Is he still playing? I know he said D-league but not listed there.

I thought that I had seen a thread on the board in which it was reported that Whittington had suffered a knee injury before the start of the D-League season, and was going to take the season off and rehabilitate. I could be wrong.

I feel that Copeland may have a higher ceiling then Otto. It shocks me that these words are being typed...Otto was amazing in ALL aspects of the game at Gtown. Not saying he is better than Otto was his freshman year....but see the potential. Cope is getting better and better on the boards...his entry passes to Josh are on the money, and his offensive game is smooth as silk. If i had to make a comparison in style..its Tracy McGrady. Okay..I am wearing my Hoya tinted glasses..so feel free to bring me down to earth.

He's taller, more athletic and has a better shot. You can learn the other stuff, though that's not always the outcome (or even likely), but it does mean his ceiling is higher.

I think both players have tremendous upside. They need to vastly improve there production on the defensive side. Need some double digit rebounding games.

Ike is more skilled. Otto was grounded in the fundamentals of the game. He probably was a better shooter from 8-10 feet.
