Saw this in my local paper and was wondering if he was on the Hoya's radar since we could use a true point. I searched but didn't see him mentioned in any of the recruiting threads. I haven't seen him play but anyone starting for Long Beach Poly has to have some skills. ESPN says He is a lock down defender who slides his feet well and he has active hands. In the open court he handed out some dazzling assists and the one area that needed improvement--his jump shot--has become much more consistent. www.presstelegram.com/sports/20150115/long-beach-poly-boys-basketballs-kejhan-feagin-puts-team-first

Could be a great under the radar pickup. A little undersized at 5'11" and 160lbs. Didn't play AAU so could be a diamond in the rough

I'm a bit bias but here is some info.... He is now about 6'1 170.... • Returning CIF POTY in Div. 1AA • Team is the Defending CIF Div 1AA Champion • 1st team All Moore League • 1st team All-State Team for Division 1AA • 2nd Team All State • Selected as a Long Beach Gazettes Newspaper Sports "Dream Team" member as a Junior. Also named 2014 POY by the LB Athletic Club • Shot 3 game winners last year alone He possesses a strong work ethic on and off the court. A natural leader and shows those qualities in leading my team at the PG position. Brings an attitude of winning that permeates any team. Has great court vision and passing skills. In addition, an excellent defender. While he's not considered a score 1st PG, can score when necessary. Take a look at his Highlight tape from 2014 tinyurl.com/KJ-HighlightsLet the powers that be know about this kid.....

Respectfully ...don't think this is going to happen. He's not even on the radar.

Since it's your first port, would it be fair to ask if you're his dad/coach/brother/bff? If so, is he interested in GU?

I am his dad.... but i'm also a realist. If he wasn't able to handle playing on that level, I wouldn't mention it.... I'm the type that believes the best person for the team should play regardless to who it is. Do I want the best for him? Yes, but he has to prove he can... I can't do that for him.... If he gets an opportunity ANYWHERE... And squanders it, that's his fault.....
He's good, he's special. He's a Real PG and not a hybrid combo scoring guard. And he's young.... Should actually be in the 11th grade right now. 4 yr Varsity player starting 3 of them.
He a floor general and a very good defender. The way the HS system runs we put the longer SG on the PG and the PG guards the SG, which is usually the best player on the team. Tough minded kid and does not get rattled.
Whomever gets him will get a gem..... If you're looking for the scoring PG, he's not your guy. If you need someone to run your team.... be a coach on the floor and has intangibles... he's the guy.
Thx

Thx Like the kids game don’t understand why WCC schools aren’t all over him.. Have you considered doing a year of Prep School since he’s young for his class? Think that would help

We have and he has a couple of offers from the CSUs so all is not lost. We will sit down and make the best choice for him.
School is more important than basketball for us. At some point the ball stops bouncing what can you do then?
That's how we're looking at it.

He should look at Santa Clara. Another Jesuit school, where guards seem to flourish. Program should be on the upswing.

If he played on the East Coast think he would have quite a few offers if you do decide to Prep might want to look in that area.. Good luck Pops!

Evan Daniels @evandaniels 44m44 minutes ago Ke'Jhan Feagin just picked up a scholarship offer from UTEP, per his AAU coach Lionel Benjamin.
Happy for the young man..

Uh, wow, that is quite a prescient post by Healy. Absolutely! He would have been a very nice addition to the class of Govan, Derrickson & Johnson... His father's write up seems to have been on point as well, he put up quality numbers @ Santa Clara... 14.2 points, 4 assists, shot 39.8%(151-382), only 2 to's per game... www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/kj-feagin-1.html
