Sodom commits too.. I like this get a lot, lots of upside.. Add like 2 more "lots" and I'm with you... Massive Pull by Ewing and staff in a position of major need with unbelievable upside. Rarely do you find 7 foot plus kid that has his overall length and mobility. Ridiculous upside! |

Alstork was there this weekend too😉 I'll be honest, grad players don't excite me all that much especially when I believe that Gtown is rebuilding right now.. Gimme the youngsters with upside over the single year players.. EXACTLY!!! Program needs to build chemistry and continuity! Give me Carter and Waters along with Walker, Blair and Sodom. If Waters doesn't come you have enough to fill the whole in Mulmore/Mosely/Blair/Dickerson. Then put the focus on 18 & 19 |

I generally agree, but if we don't have enough strong targets now, there is no great risk in bringing in a guy for one year, and saving the scholarship for next year when we have more time for the new staff to go after big targets. |

I would have zero issues with Alstork coming aboard for next season but I won't be as pumped about it as I am with the Sodom commitment or a Carter commitment.. I think coaches should live for today when it comes to recruiting.. If I had a nickel for all the posts about Gtown's big "targets" for the future or "saving" slots, Warren Buffet would be jealous of me.. A bird in the hand would be my philosophy on the recruiting trail.. |
