Gotta love the sound of Team Iverson. Some nice prospects on both teams highlighted by 2017's Mario Haskett 6'3 PG, Jordan Cross 6'6 SG, and class of 2016's JJ Mathews 6'8 PF and Maliek White 6'2 PG.
Really like Haskett in particular. Putting this in 16 because if the Hoyas do begin to show interest it will probably be in those 2 kids. Haskettt plays on 16u, Jordan Cross on 17u

2017 Ejike Obinna Continues to Show High Level Promise The 16U Uncommon Bulls lost in the championship game to Team Loaded VA, but 6'9 Ejike Obinna of Virginia Academy was a standout in the post all weekend. The athletic big man was a force in the paint for the Bulls, as he sent back shots at the rim and dominated the glass on both ends. Obinna ran the floor well, finished everything he could in the paint with a dunk, and withstood a real beating as teams turned to hacking him to stop him when he touched it in the paint. While he showed that he's already a force now, it's the room for growth that has high-major programs contacting his camp regularly. Obinna has good hands, a solid frame, and good athletic ability for his size, and all of these things make for likely improvement on both ends of the floor. He holds an offer from George Mason, and is receiving interest from Georgetown, Virginia, Washington, Georgia Tech, Seton Hall, Texas, and Maryland, among others - See more at: www.vantagehoops.com/news_article/show/512428?referrer_id=1102873#sthash.yE2lrOpZ.dpuf

I am very much in favor of recruiting guards from McKinley Tech! From his cell, Victor waves and winks his remaining eye.

Didn't they shut down that place for a while? If that is correct, I am glad to see it back up and running.

Best part about the vid is he was mostly working against Fultz and Harvey. Definitely a kid to keep an eye on especially if he's anything close to as good a shooter as he looked in this vid.

Also players know who can really play. Fultz and Harvey both saying he is a really good player is endorsement for me.

So are the Hoyas involved? Just a passing glance or pushing for him?

His jumper form is pure textbook solid. Nice handle and a lefty. Looks like he can play on or off the ball too already.

What's the story with this kid? Seems like he already graduated HS and is doing a post grad year at Mt. Zion? Why didn't he commit this year? Grades? Game? Hidden gem? Please fill us in - they are looking at him for 2016, right?
