Staff has been watching him a lot. Very Bryce Cotton. More explosive than Bryce at the same age. Kid can get from point A to point B off the dribble at any time. Having someone like that is almost rare

For me, there's no question. I want this kid.
He'd be our best and most creative ballhandler since AI. As good as Chris Wright was, he didn't have the handles this kid has, (not saying he's a better overall player than Chris). With the lineup we have around him, size isn't an issue. He has the ability to live in the lane, and he's a very good passer. He'll get us easy looks all day

I'll be honest, I want to see more.. Who does he play with for aau? He did get a nice review this weekend though.. insider.espn.go.com/blog/ncbrecruiting/on-the-trail/post?id=134584. Sub 6-footersThompson wasn’t the only point guard to play well on Saturday, but he was the only one above 6-feet. Daquan Bracey, who is generously listed at 5-foot-10, also had a good day showing the toughness, versatile offensive floor game and decision-making skills that have helped him land offers from Georgetown, Dayton, Marquette and Kansas State.

WOW! Yaboy... that kid is fast! Faster & quicker than Tre - and Tre is fast! He would be the fastest, quickest GU guard since AI - who was, of course, the fastest/quickest ever. I hope the staff can get this done. Great kid. Would be a huge addition no matter how tall he isn't.

DeQuan Bracey, PG: Bracey is of the names that I had been told to take a strong look at heading into the event. The 5-foot-8 lead guard is quick and seemingly lived in the lane during the event. He attacked the rim, made good decisions with the ball and showed good court vision. He’s tough and competes on both ends of the floor. From Evan Daniels, probably means word is starting to get out shorty can play scouthoops.scout.com/story/1532610-metro-challenge-60-recap?s=75

I was watching the Wisconsin-UK game, and it was interesting to see how Ulis had the Wisconsin PG completely uncomfortable bringing the ball up the court against him. It got to the point where they had their PF help bring it up because of Ulis' pesky D. It got me thinking about Bracey and how nice it would be to see him in a Hoya uniform harassing other teams' PGs...

The kid was a one man press pretty much the whole time he was on the floor.

theleftbench.com/high-school-recruiting/daquan-braceys-recruitment-is-a-change-of-speed/?utm_content=bufferf08a3Bracey said much of his game involves running the offense and setting picks for teammates. As for his strengths on the court, he cited his ability to get to the rim, his vision and a high basketball IQ. As well as working on his jump shot, he hopes to become more of a vocal leader in the locker room and on the hardwood, he said. Once he does decide where he will go to school, it will be where Daquan Bracey the person and basketball player feels most comfortable. Bracey said he is looking for a school with a healthy environment and a program heading in the right direction. While mostly reserved about his recruitment, Bracey did admit he was surprised to receive offers from historic programs like Marquette and Georgetown. Georgetown is nearby, but Bracey explained proximity to home will not influence his decision. With Bracey set to make a decision in five months, the attention and speculation surrounding him will gradually grow, but until then, he’s going to work on his jump shot.

Recruiting gurus...
He may wait another 5 months to announce but will we? He feels like a heavy gtown lean but i assume we wont wait if others will commit. Fair to say?

I wouldn't want to be a head coach. Not sure how they make these recruiting decisions. Would landing NWG scare off a 2016 PG like Bracey? They'd only overlap for 1 maybe 2 years, but with Tre already on board that would use up most of the PG minutes for a 2016 PG's freshman and possibly sophomore year if NWG were to play 2 years after transferring.

What if they paid you $3M per year?
