Mama's birthday can't get here fast enough!
Do we need a song about Daquan's mom like we had for Jeff Green?

I will be thrilled to land him but is it fair to say that his outside shot is a big question mark?

Where is this kid ranked? Not that it matters ultimately but I am curious as to who the competition is for his commitment. If he is flying below the radar are we competing with mid-majors?

Is there a comp for Bracey? A poor man's Tyler Ulis perhaps?

I see some Ulis. Maybe not the jump shot but definitely the wiggle and playmaking ability. From the clips I have seen of Bracey, he reminds me of a lefthanded Cordell Henry. Has a similar shot release and comparable athletic ability. Cordell was Dwayne Wade's pg at Marquette. Very underrated in my book.
Ha, just remembered that Cordell was good friends with Coach Hardy. Maybe that's a good sign.

If he is flying below the radar are we competing with mid-majors? 95% of rankings are based on AAU play, since he's not playing on the Big Circuits he's not going to be ranked... He's listed as a 4 star on some sites 3 on others...

I'm not usually one to want to just base things on YouTube videos and highlight reels, but in this case, I'd have to say he looks like a very exciting prospect, and I think his quickness is the sort of thing that opens things up all over the court, especially if he's fond of the late dish (which he seems to be quite good at, if only from above-mentioned highlights). I'd be very happy if he committed to GU.

The relative silence of his recruitment is speaking volumes to me. This is the type of verbal we get most often, the super quiet ninga variety. I'd be shocked if we didn't win this one.

His speed and dishing ability are intriguing. But short PGs usually have trouble defending the 3 and can struggle shooting the 3 against length. And unless they are superior athletes, the struggle to finish inside against size.
I think this would be a pretty risky signing.

Kid is a player.. Not really worried about a smallish PG when you're pretty much 6'8 + at nearly every other position. Utah's defense sure did look tough even with a 5'9 SG playing 30+ minutes a game
He'll push pace, he'll break down defenses and he will find people. He's elite or borderline elite in those areas

I asked this before but will ask again. He seems like he finishes well for his size and seems to have a great knack of finding the open man.
However can he shoot? I wouldn't be as worried if Foster was a lights out shooter but he at this point seems much more like a slasher to me.
I want them both but are we running into a risk of our future backcourt having zero range in an offense that needs it.

Not his strong suit but it seems guys are forgetting he's 1 piece, Not all the pieces in 1. Tre Campbell is going to be the starting PG until Bracey's a Junior. That gives him plenty of time to work on his shot and round out his game. Plus based on how they are recruiting they are still looking to land other guards in addition to the 2 mentioned above.

Yaboy and Blue and Gray is it fair to say that we won't wait for Bracey?
Say for instance Jones and Mosley want to commit, would it be fair to assume Bracey is out of luck at that point and part of the risk of waiting for Sept?

Idk about that but the fact we're only recruiting combos and not pg's might be indicative of something... no inside info jus sayin...BG might have a better answer for you...

First to pop. We could easily take 2 of 3 and have starter minutes for both of them.
