If we can get that from Hopkins every game, we'll be fine.

We rebounded well, as we should have. Too many turnovers, no deep shooting, again.

M. Hopkins 4 Pts, 6 Reb, 3 Ast, 2 Stl, 2 Blk Not bad production....we didn't show the number times he was blocked or his turnovers. My count was blocked twice with 2 turnovers.

Offense looking a lot better in second half. Hoyas are better team when they speed the tempo up this year.

Paul White should get no worse than the second most minutes on this team. Good things happen when he touches the ball. I'm starting to think he should be the primary ball handler which would allow DSR to play more in his comfort zone.

Well, who are we gonna believe? Our broadcast partners or, as Bob Raissman calls them, Bristol Community Clown College?

This is why we allow lesser teams to beat us. We are much deeper and much more athletic than last year, yet no pressure to create easy baskets from JTIII. No way we should have had 29 pt in the first half vs this team. I don't think we need to be pressing all game, but this allowing teams to play at their tempo mess is for the birds.

Radford was 9-22 from three point range in their last game against Virginia Tech. Today, they are 1-8. Not getting the opportunities, and those that they are getting aren't dropping. Credit the Hoya defense.

Really?? Re read. I was speaking of our performance until halftime. This is our same problem come tournament time. We need to show that we are able to force tempo when WE want to, to better uses our depth and athleticism. These are the types of games we need to be practicing this. The team we're playing now sucks, but when we play teams that are not as good as us, but much better than Radford, we allow them to hang around because we allow opponents to play at a comfortable tempo, their tempo.

They aren't machines, man. We've blown them out in the 2nd half. We led by 11 at the break. Remember, it's exam time. We've looked better than we have in recent years in these types of games.

I havent seen any problems with our tempo either half. Yes we were stagnant early but that is more because we werent playing well then the tempo. If we pushed it while we weren't making shots we would be just giving them extra possessions. Also we push it when our defense allows it. Im sorry but were not a pressing team.

Coach is working on a lot of different combinations today. I think that is his focus more than tempo. Also remember that we desperately need to cut down on turnovers. Trying to artificially spped up your game does not usually help you work on valuing the ball.
