Seems like a longshot to me, but I am glad the staff is on him.

I didn't even know there was another Gibbs. If this kid can shoot like his brothers, he'd be a major asset. Sign him up!

www.d1circuit.com/news_article/show/501691?referrer_id=790853The 2014 Peach Jam Champions look to defend their crown in 2015, and they’ll do so with plenty of veteran leadership. Temple Gibbs and Myles Powell return to lead Jimmy Salmon’s bunch, and they will have their hands full replacing Isaiah Briscoe’s production. Gibbs will build on an excellent sophomore season in 2014, and he will be the unequivocal leader of the Playaz. Taurean Thompson will play a huge role for the Playaz in the frontcourt, and team chemistry shouldn’t be a problem, as he will share the court with three of his St. Anthony teammates. It’s always hard to repeat in the EYBL, and it will be up to Gibbs and Powell to lead them back to North Augusta.

www.d1circuit.com/game/show/10198111Gibbs 13 5 reb 3 assts Shamorie Ponds 20 2 and 1 Like Gibbs overall game and college readiness better but Ponds is a guy to keep an eye on for sure. Averaging 18ppg on 55% shooting, 34% from 3 on 32 attempts (9-21 his last 3 games). 3.5 steals a game but only 9 assists total in 4 games Gibbs avgd 13.5 (42% from the field, 17% from 3) 4 boards and 3.2 assts. www.d1circuit.com/roster_players/7754496

the-boneyard.com/blog/temple-gibbs-talks-about-his-uconn-visit/The talented combo guard out of New Jersey had rave reviews about his visit to UConn. “It was great! It’s amazing! I’m looking forward to going back. I saw both gyms and a little of the campus. I loved the weight room, it was one of the best that I have seen,” he explained. Temple has two older brothers Ashton, who played at Pitt, and Sterling, who plays for Seton Hall, which means he’s been on various other campuses with his brothers and for his own visits. With Temple saying he liked UConn’s facilities that much goes to show how nice the new UConn Basketball Champions Center truly is.It's getting crazy how all these schools are building basketball only training facilities now, I just read where the University of Houston is opening one this coming August..

All the more reason why building our facility was a necessity to keep up. Also, UConn's practice facility is another reason I hope they eventually join the Big East - they're built for the long term.

I actually think it's a good thing it's not basketball only, as our kids like hanging with other athletes too
