How many more recruits must we lose before we figure out a way to stop kc? How many more? Forget social assassin. He is a recruiting assassin. Thankfully, we now have the answer - the problem is not fit, facilities, tough academics, etc. It is KC. Oh, and that Charlie Daniels Ballroom Dancing thing has had a lingering impact...

I want Jackson all the way. We need to start building a foundation around defense. Jackson and Mosely alongside multiple talanted offensive weapons would be tremendous.

Jaren's dad was pushed out when JT3 came on board, along with Esherick's entire staff. Unceremoniously so.
A coaching change would not hinder our recruitment - in fact, it might give us a boost.

#59 in Scout's latest top 100: Finally there is Jackson. A 6-foot-9 power forward with a 7-foot-2 wing span and a nice shooting stroke, Jackson has all the tools to play at the highest level of basketball if he puts it all together. With that in mind, his season has been marked by foul trouble and ineffective play at times. Now to be fair to Jackson, he and his teammates have had to deal with major distractions since December due to the resignation and subsequent scandal involving his high school coach, but still there are questions for him to answer about his play. At times Jackson seems to not compete on the glass and doesn’t look for his shot enough. Also on defense he tries to block every shot and gets himself in major foul trouble instead of playing quality defense. Jackson has always been a work in progress, but at some point he needs to take that next step. Given his physical tools time is most definitely still on his side, but it would be nice to see some of that potential turn into production. If that happens a spot in the top 50, and potentially top 30, is definitely in the cards, but if not he looks like a kid who will fall out of the top 75. www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1641471-who-in-2017-needs-to-have-a-big-spring

Did I miss something or have we already missed the boat on Jaren Jackson Jr. Would explain the uptick in the pursuit of Taurean Thompson. Couldn't get JJ now were going for TT (yeah I know kind of cheesy).

I'm confused now....
"On the recruiting trail Jackson has accumulated offers from schools such as Michigan State, Indiana, Purdue, Notre Dame, Illinois, Xavier, Georgetown, Maryland, Butler, and others. With so much interest, Jackson is just trying to weigh all of his options, but recently he hasn’t had a chance to make any visits.
“I have been pretty wrapped up in Park Tudor basketball so I haven’t seen any games recently, but I will get back out and take some visits when I have time,” said Jackson.
One school that has long been tied to Jackson is Georgetown. Both of his parents attended the school, and Jackson says he is building a strong relationship with the staff.
“I talk to Coach (John) Thompson and Coach (Tavaras) Hardy all the time,” said Jackson. “They say how they like me, and Coach Thompson tells me all the time how he needs me at Georgetown, so it is great talking to them. They have had some tough losses this year in the Big East, but I know they will get it together.”
