All I know is that CBS Sports sent an alert to my phone from this article saying Josh Smith will be back. I'm taking it as a good sign and plugging my ears until November.

Not that it's a surprise but its good to hear JT3 say that the freshman will be thrown into the fire quickly. Really, he had no choice because without them we would be a pretty weak team.

You'll see I left a comment on that article. I think John Thompson III as #2 is fair, but Lavin is definitely the biggest miss on the list.

I hate that I just spent a couple of minutes trying to determine if that was Josh helping DSR (I think it was) and if Josh looked like he lost weight. I feel like this offseason is one long trip into those magazines at the grocery store that tell you whether a celebrity gained/lost weight.

Series like this are positive because it guarantees some good quality OOC games and it will help conference RPI.
