Prefer a PF (like the only from GW) over a PG and if we did get one then not Lykes

I don't have a huge problem with Lykes coming in to back up Dante next year.

I get the sentiment of wanting another pg, but you can't have Dante perform like this and then make him a non-starter

Crazy thought...could he play SG?
Dante boards well and can defend bigger guards OK.
If Lykes is at SG he could shot hunt like Blair and get his numbers without pounding the air out of the ball. Also who is going to shoot the 3 ball next year? Riley and Aminu are slashers more than shooters.
We have like 5 7footers to help in the paint.
Speed kills. I dunno, I think it could work.

How real is the subject of this thread? If it is not 100% accurate, it needs to be deleted in my opinion.

I know Miami are expecting him to transfer. Not sure of the destination.

For a few minutes a game? Maybe. But otherwise this is a tough ask for two six feet/sub six feet guards. As good as Dante is he shouldn’t be regularly asked to guard bigger 2’s.

Crazy thought...could he play SG? Dante boards well and can defend bigger guards OK. Are you for real? I did say crazy thought. I realize two sub 6 guards is unconventional. But I think it's way less crazy then when people suggest Ryan will play the 4. But in today's game where people dont even post big men anymore would we really be at that much of a disadvantage? Ohio had those two small guards that lit us up a few years back.

Jordan Riley has Dante’s mindset. They are KILLERS. Either Bile back or rugged 4 that could shoot a little bit would be a more effective roster addition.

There's not many teams where that would help in a prominent role. You don't get extra points for doing it at that height.

You don't get extra points for doing it at that height. That doesnt prove your point that he is not a good player. I've been on record plenty on here that I would only welcome here if he accepted that he would have to play different because he can create offense quickly. I dont think he would so I wouldn't take him but I could see him being effective in a bench role as a microwave scorer. Basically what suits Blair best also.
