There has been a lively discussion in the Catholic blogosphere about how to interpret Pope Francis -- e.g., in continuity with Benedict though with different emphases? A break from Benedict? Pope Francis gave another interview, this time to a large Italian newspaper. www.repubblica.it/cultura/2013/10/01/news/pope_s_conversation_with_scalfari_english-67643118/He speaks about the changes coming in the Church and, like many of his other interviews, has some zingers: "The court is the leprosy of the papacy;" "Proselytism is solemn nonsense. You have to meet people and listen to them;" "Heads of the Church have often been narcissists, flattered and thrilled by their courtiers;" "...look at the future and open up to modern culture (including) dialogue with non-believers."
