Paul White was fairly quite during the game against St. John Bosco. He rebounded and handled the ball at times, but went scoreless in the first half. In the third quarter he came alive scoring wise for a few minutes and scored 6 points on a handful of possessions. On one play he caught the ball on the wing and took two dribbles for a 10 foot pull-up. Besides for that it was Okafor who dominated in the first half and Reynolds who played well in the 2nd half. Towards the end of the game, Whitney Young's no name guards were taking the shots. Hopefully White will regain his form over the next few weeks and start to string together some dominant performances now that he is in his 4th year as a varsity starter. He was sporting a fresh tatoo on his upper right arm.

Looks like I shorted him and the score. Hard to get accurate stats/info on HS games I guess.

He's very impressive. Has a mature game. Has a nice mid range jumper, good bball IQ, rebounds, handles it well on the break and is finishing inside. He's a good one. True small forward...has a lot of Jeff Green in his game, which explains why III just really fell in love with him. Wish he were on this team. He'd be a starter

I really liked his game in highlight clips and this showing has me even more impressed. I also like the fact he knows how to feed a big man in the post also, that skill will help a lot playing with josh

I'm not sure if he has a lot of Jeff Green in his game. Jeff was stronger, much more athletic and really ran the floor at all times. Plus Jeff was posting people up in high school at that five spot.
But Paul White doesn't have to be Jeff Green. Just Paul White. Like what I'm seeing tonight. Nice handle, nice passing, smooth, buttery jumper (even on that baseline) and a whole lot of court smarts and court awareness. He doesn't force the action either and appears very selfless.

Its my first time seeing Paul White live. His game is silky smooth in the mid-range. He's crazy long both heigth and wingspan. He probably should be more of an asset on the defensive end but not so much in this game. He could totally take over this game if he wanted but that may not be his nature. In my mind he's more of a facilitator and ball mover and will score when and if needed. On this Whitney Young team, he seems like more of a point PF cause his guards are so shoot first guys.
I like Paul White alot, he will a huge asset next year. Right now, he's already better than Domingo is because he has way better shot selection.

In this game, Tyus Jones is also playing. i believe he is the #1 ranked player 2014/2015. He reminds me of that really good, light-skinned PG from Notre Dame about about 6 years ago, Chris ?.

My only con is that he has to up his effort level.. Appears way too passive right now.
But his skill level and IQ are very high.. I'll be shocked if he's not getting consistent pt next season..

My only con is that he has to up his effort level.. Appears way too passive right now. Which is probably why he is not ranked a top 20 player. He really is taking his time running the floor duirng this game.

He had 17, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 blocks tonight. He's one of those guys who doesn't look that involved until you see the stat sheet at the end of the game.

His effort level was Bleh… Kid needs to play harder and that’s all there is too it. Didn’t run the floor, didn’t crash the boards a lot of the time.
That being said he goes for 17, 9, and 7assts. All of the skills we're on display, good passer, high IQ, Good Handle and his pull up game is really solid for a 6’9 kid. When engaged he can rebound too.
