I would disagree. Orlando is tied for last in the league for a reason. Lack of talent. Their roster has noone of any significant trade value. It's practically an expansion team. As for the Cavs, success or failure of an organization starts at the top. And they still have that crazy owner who cannot evaluate talent. Cavs are very mediocre and in the NBA you can't win with mediocre players. There is nothing mediocre about Kyrie Irving. Cleveland looks like the best landing spot for Otto from my vantage point, although New Orleans and to a lesser extent Detroit have potential too. Irving's decent but he is injury prone as I pointed out earlier. Last 3 years Irving has been injured. Duke 11 out of 36 games Cavs 51 out of 82 games Cavs 59 out of 82 games espn.go.com/nba/player/stats/_/id/6442/kyrie-irvingSo there is a legitimate durability question with him compared to guys like Chris Paul and Deron Williams. Also Dook point guards in general have underperformed in the NBA compared to their hype coming out of Dook for a variety of reasons: Jay Williams Bobby Hurley Nolan Smith Johnny Dawkins

Yeah Nolan Smith was such a hyped PG for Duke and him and Kyrie are similar players.........(sarcasm).
Obviously there are durability concerns, but Kyrie is already a top 5 Pg in the league in his second year.

So many good PG’s in the league top 5 is extremely debatable but definitely one of the more exciting young PG’s in the league. CP3 Westbrook Rose DWill Tony Parker Steph Curry All have to be in that discussion and have proven more in this league than Kyrie. I would put him on par with a Jrue Holiday. There’s little doubt he gets their in a couple years, but hopefully sometime between now and then he figures out how to play some defense..

Drose is hurt. Of the PGs that have played this year Kyrie is no lower than 3 or 4. John Wall is about to be in that discussion too next year.

I dont know about "miles" but I'd give Kyrie the nod. Jrue is definitely a better defender. Again, I agree Kyrie is better overall but dont totally discount Jrue either. It seems he's destined to be another Rod Strickland - highly respected among players and coaches, but seemingly anonymous to fans and national media.

Apparently Jrue is in the discussion for top 5 pgs -___- When did I say he was top 5 I said him and Irving were at a similar level.. Irving probably gets the edge but not by much and he definitely hasn’t accomplished as much.. It’s laughable that you would think that Jrue is not close to that level and then say John Wall will be top 5 next year?? wow

Yes especially Tony Parker.. Winning in the playoffs means something plus I’d bet Tony Parker is a high usage player for SA they run everything through Parker, are you sure you’ve seen them play a lot recently? Curry had almost the exact same numbers as Irving and his team is in the playoffs as well..

Jrue right now will never be any higher on the pg foodchain. He's very good, all-star type. In five years, Kyrie will be the best point guard in the league. There's a big difference.

I never said Jrue wasn't close...I love his game. Kyrie is an elite PG. They're in the same ball park, but then again they're not really. You dont think John Wall will be a top 5 PG? Please, I'd like to hear your list.

The conversation is about “NOW” so 5 years does not matter.. Holiday averaged 18 8 and 4 and he is 100 times the defender that Irving is. One of the best defenders at his position by a long shot, with numbers like that plus his defensive presence it’s hard to use the words “not close” when comparing the two players..
