Dominating the performance by the Hoyas. The way it should be when playing at home for the BE championship. We put on a total clinic in how to defend Cuse and how to dissect the zone. I was not worried too much about this game, but even my high expectations were easily exceeded by our guys. Starks and DSR were tremendous all day long, Cuse did not know what hit them. If I am a Cuse fan, I would be officially worried about that team, whatever confidence they had left was further destroyed by Georgetown. I mean holding them below 40 points? That is dominance.

What an awesome game! Really dominated a talented Syracuse team... Syracuse's lowest points to end the BE era... Perfect ending!

Just finished watching game. Awesome win!
1. Defense was just impossible for CUSE to handle.
2. Guard play was awesome. Starks, Trawick, and DSR all played big.
3.. CUSE just doesnt have the guards or the 3 pt shooting to compete.
We really have a chance to go far this year. Its a shame if OTTO goes pro. Next year would be just as good if not better...

Anyone know where I can get a pic if the tifo? Was it shown on TV? It looked great from my section. Here is a pic ripped from CasualHoya: Great fans, great team, great day!

This is the second time that Syracuse gambled and lost. In the first game part of their strategy seemed to have been bury us with a barrage of three's, demoralize us. They forgot about our defense and Otto Porter. The second time around, the plan was stop Porter. This time they forgot about our defense, cohesiveness, and the perimeter play--Starks and DSR.

Well they made an adjustment and decided not to guard Lubick. JT3 encountered by just sitting Lubick.
Well done Beoheim

Agreed, Lubick is going to have to work on his jump shot. We definitely need him in the game as a defensive specialist and as a leader next year. I still think he has a shot at being drafted into the NBA. He is a smart, tough competitor. Don't mean to kick up any dust with the last comment. Let's just bask in the glory of this incredible win.

I wouldn't say SU is terrible. They are good. But they just don't seem to deal well with on-ball pressure. They don't have any excellent guards per se. Or at least I should say quick.... like UConn

Watched the game with Harry. Was thrilled with Jabril's cram and in the genius of a child pronounces Magoo's name "BOO HIM"

I think Syracuse is atrocious offensively. But we also do a really, really good job of hedging screens and helping on defense.

If Lubick could hit a 12 footer this team would be undefendable, and would give us the luxury of playing Moses in the post.

We all know he can make it, and if he could start doing so this team would be ridiculous.

He plays with heart and head but just cannot pull that trigger. Today he missed twice at the beginning and then completely backed off. Would rather he develop more of a shooter's mentality and at least try to score from 10 feet out.
