At the Cuse game I'm told: K. Latin I. Copland D. Wiley P. Booth B. Bentil
Being selfish I'd like to see K. Frazier but this is a great list of recruits!

Put me in the camp that would love to land Frazier... Booth is a long shot IMO and I'm fine with that (there are better options) As for Wiley , I'd like to see him step his game up a little more before the staff goes all-in. If we can finish the post season off impressively we will attract heavier talent.

Don't think any of those were Cuse invitees.

Copeland and Lattin could conceivably be 2013 kids. As suggested on another board, the timing is right now to capitalize on our success. Frazier, also '13 is likely the most capable of making the greatest impact for '13. While no inside info, with SMU now in a non-conference I would imagine he's likely for Texas to have provided Kybongo goes pro. We don't have juice in Texas...nor with top PG kids (this seems to be the position he wants to play) and don't I imagine JT3 will tell the kid what he wants to hear or may want to receive.

looking at the video he looks like he can play all 3 perimeter positions, which as you said, III will sell him on.

While I did go to GU with Ralph Dalton I am not the aforementioned RdF but rather the original Hoya Destroya.

Pinson and Morgan? Nice. We have a shot at either? I know Morgan was a bit of a surprise.

I’ve always heard Unc for Pinson… The internetz believed they lead by more than a bit, but recently it’s been Duke or IU so we will see.
Fwiw last year RDF said he spoke with Pinson’s family and they said we have no shot...

I thought Pinson was supposed to be at UNC tomorrow? I know they have Vaughn and Wiggins in for the game so maybe Pinson wasn't feeling the love.

I would think no for Pinson mainly due to the fact I can't find any references to G'town on any recruiting sites or articles about him. Our former buddy RDF talked about speaking with Theo & his Pops at aau events and neither were very enthused about G'town. I'm too lazy to look but RDF's comments are out there somewhere. This game Saturday is a hot ticket and kids wanna be in the building..

RDF didn't say we had no shot but he said it was unlikely. He also said the kid and his family had some postive feelings about Gtown and the holdup was the offense and to some extent the success of the program. I would bet it's an extremely uphill battle but worth a shot.

I posted similar thoughts inn the Pinsion thread day, fwiw. I would think at least some of the local "on the fence" recruits would be swayed by the atmospere and a Hoya win. Ideally, Copeland, the big texas kid, Lattin (also a Tx kid) and the guard from Dallas. III has been deep in the heart of Texas this past couple of months. We need another big and guards who can shoot, but primarily can get to the cup.
