Ken Pomeroy @kenpomeroy
Just realizing that CBS made part of the nation watch St. John's-Georgetown for the last two hours. My sympathies.

Yahoo has DSR for 7, but still, either way.

Guess which fan bases won't be renewing their subscriptions! Actually the NC St-Miami game was amazing. Miami tips in the go-ahead with under a second left, then State almost hits a full-court shot for the win. I think he is just saying that the folks in our viewing area missed a great game.

The French kid for the Johnnies should be starting or at the very least get in the game before the 2nd half.

Now, that's the way to stave off a team out to get revenge! Great, balanced play by the mighty, fearless Hoyas! JT-3 deserves coach of the year, Nate will be drafted into the NBA (next year), Starks a picture of fluid consistency, Jabril is all guts and grit!

A 12 point win over a team with a 6 game conference winning streak.4 wins in a row and 6-7 since we lost Greg. Hoya fans you've got to believe!

How good has the toughness of Nate and Jabril made this team? Perfect complements to the skill that Otto, Markel and DSR bring....we are really becoming a pretty tough out

I got a text from friend at game that there was a mini-scrap at the end of the game during handshakes, any info?

Nate was awesome today, definitely the player of the game. I noted that a couple of the internet sites only credited him with 8 boards and 3 assists, while the announcers had him at, I think 10 and 4. Regardless, he was outstanding.
I liked the announcers a lot - they gave our team tons of credit. Yeah, they could have said something about the officiating but I'm actually glad they didn't. I *hate* that style of announcing that makes it all about the officials (eg, Billy Packer).
Markel and Jabril also very good - Markel not just good but great in the first half. Otto got off to a great start but never really looked up to his usual standards after he had to sit in the first staff. We had way too many turnovers and fouls. I actually thought most of the fouls called against us were legit, but really don't understand why more weren't called on St J's. Interior play was *rough* today. Another great thing about Nate today was that he survived all that - did he even come out of the game until the very end?
Bowen's putback slam is another for the highlight reel. Wow.
I do feel bad for the Johnnies that got hurt, especially the kid who had to be carried off. His season could be done. We're lucky that none of those injuries were to our guys.
There were some very pretty assists.
Mainly I'm just very proud of our team.

Did anyone else stream the game on cbssports.com and have problems? Whenever I had the game streaming, it literally shut down all other internet access on my home network. I couldn't open a web page in another tab in my browser, or in a different browser, or even on my ipad or iphone. Once I closed out of the stream everything worked fine again. Did anyone else have that happen?

It happened when most everyone had turned to leave. When I turned back around, I saw a large group of players and coaches near mid-court, and there was some kind of scuffle. Never saw any pushing or punching, but guys were clearly being pulled apart from each other. Saw Bowen being pushed back by some Georgetown players, and there was one St. John's player being led off the court by two of his teammates. I couldn't see his number though. Whatever it was, it couldn't have lasted more than about 20 seconds. Hopefully not a big deal, but I couldn't find one person in the concourse who really saw what happened.

Great game for Nate no doubt - probably his best as a Hoya. But you are delusional if you think he is going to the NBA. He'll never even have a cup of coffee in the D-League.
