I just don't think he's good enough to play on our level. He still has time to develop, but he's a 2014, so not much time.

He's wayyyy, wayyyy too slight. He's a good paint defender against high school kids, but unless he gets taller or thicker (WAY thicker), he'll have to be a wing defender in college. And he's not a wing right now.

Do you think he can be a 3/4 in JT3's system? Thanks POD..

as I said before, I think he's a back up plan, but if you're going to take a flier on a kid; he needs to be 6'8 and up.

And he needs to bulk up big time to be a 4 for us.

Depends on the kid. Don't want a string bean but I remember hating on Adreian Payne because I thought he was too skinny and didn't have the frame to get bigger. Now he's plenty big and potential NBA guy. Of course he was a 5 star but still.

Pretty sure that every thread for every recruit that Georgetown has landed recently has started off this way. Sounds like a lock to me.

He is like Greg Whittington if Whittington grew up in the Sudan (physique wise).

In theory I agree ID but the reality of it is the staff invited him to the L'ville game on the 26th and now the Marquette game tomorrow so they're showing some decent interest in the kid. I also like the fact that VCU has offered, They seem to get kids who work/play hard..

Sorta Editeded Hoyas passed on Javonte Reddic; VCU got him and he's a decent player who defends and finishes around the cup. Hoyas didn't think he was skilled enough, from what I was told.

Alex Kline @therecruitscoop 2014 St. Vincent Pallotti (MD) PF Tariq Owens will choose between VCU & Miami. He will visit both shortly after the NCAA basketball season.
