What is with all these wacky tip-off times?
That is way too late for day drinking and way too early for me to begin my normal binging for night games.
(This will not stop me, mind you. Just decidedly inconvenient...)

Go hoyas big game will need to play like the first half of prov the WHOLE game forty minutes OR MORE of hustle. Will be tough to beat there. refs cant be any worse than for prov. otto getting KILLED all nite but he got at least two very bad calls to foul out go hoyas best of luck to greg may he find himself IT IS ABOUT MORE THAN JUST THE BBALL.. go hoyas . ;D ;D

They played Cuse/Nova relatively close at home and you can bet the game will be sloppy. This game will be much like the Provy game but I think USF is probably better on D and worse on O. Gotta get this one.

Tough slow low scoring game. But we should win this game. They're not as good defensively as they were last year. They tried pushing the tempo up at the beginning of the year but that didn't work for them so they're back to grinding out games.

Keep it up from last game. Good to see everyone step up in various ways to fill the void left by Greg. Need Jabril and Bowen to continue to step it up. Would like to see more minutes for Moses then against Provy but they're a small team. Keep it up Hoyas!

This will be "Heath-ian" ball which is hideous to watch and somehow they are always in games despite fact they don't look to shoot unless they can find the most awkward look possible and then hit some of that crap and hope opponents get frustrated. We know III loves to engage in Dungeon Ball, so first to 35 wins.

No excuse to lose this game. USF is basically our offense efficiency combined with a top 100 (instead of top 10) defense.
They also play slower than us--it'll be a good test for how committed JT3 is to speeding up the pace.

Of course it's a lot easier to slow down the game than it is to speed it up. but i'm sure people will point to the fact that the Hoyas are not trying to speed it up anymore and are going away from what has been working.

If you are disciplined, want to go slow and don't turn the ball over ... you can make it be slow. The other team can't do anything about it.
That said, III can make some choices to try and speed it up -- press, push it a bit.

Another must win against a team that Hoyas should not have any problem with. The Hoyas should host Louisville with a 4 game winning streak including this game.

We should probably go ahead and one-game-at-a-time it for now. Not exactly a layup on Monday night should we get past the Bulls. ND is 46-2 in their last 48 home games (though last Saturday was the 2) and unlike SJU and Provy does occasionally seem to have a coherent halfcourt offense.

This is a must win. Take nothing for granted, and play one game at a time. Hope the Hoyas come out ready to play with their game faces on. They just need to go out and give it 110%, and leave it all out on the court.

Is SNY really pre-empting the first half hour of our game for the UConn Women's post game show??? Is there a game watch somewhere in NYC??

And the winner for most cliches in two lines is... ;D Just come out and play like we did in the first half against Providence and the first 13:30 against St. John's.
