Normally I'd agree with you, although I'm not sure Virginians should be subsidizing anything for Marylanders, but especially if it encourages more of them to be on the road.

We just got a diesel Mercedes (better mileage), but the gas tax will remain on diesel purchases. So I can pay the gas tax AND higher sales taxes. Yay.
