The Georgetown Club of Northern California will be doing a Game Watch at The Bus Stop in San Francisco (1901 Union St) for the Georgetown-Princeton game on ESPNU. Kickoff is at 4pm Pacific Time, which also nicely coincides with the start of Bus Stop's Happy Hour, from 4-6pm. The folks there also promised us sound.
Any other alumni clubs out there doing Game Watches? Haven't heard anything else happening yet.

Crickets? I understand if DC, NY, Philly are more focused on getting people to the game, but LA, Chicago?
Well, at the very least, hopefully a good amount of people will watch on ESPNU.

There is a funny thing going on with this game that might prevent people from going (especially on a workday when travel is required for most) or hitting a bar to watch it....for the first time EVER...they can watch Gtown football play (in high def no less) at home on their big screen!
I would have happily travelled to this game on Sat- but I have no complaints at all about watching it at home and not on the circa 1995 GU Hoyas feed of Harbin and Old North and occasionally some football plays where you can actually make out where the ball is.

I'll be joining the Hoya Faithful in San Francisco at The Bus Stop!
Sounds like the D.C. gamewatch will be held at the Mason Inn up Wisconsin Ave NW.
Hoping for a big Hoya win -- not only because it's on TV, but also because this is the battle of Coast2Coast versus Brother of Coast2Coast. Not too often we get to go head-to-head for family braggin' rights.
Let's Go Hoyas!

I saw Mason Inn for the first time a couple nights ago. It is where Grog and Tankard used to be, if any of you want to join me in shaking fist at cloud.
I'm travelling though, so count me in for The Bus Stop as well.

To anyone in the Dallas area there should be a small conglomerate of Hoyas at Christies Sports Bar in Uptown. Lets get rowdy!

Decent turnout in San Francisco - ultimately we had about 15-20 of us cheering on the Hoyas on that final drive. It felt good to lead a "Hoya Saxa" chant 3,000 miles away, and for football, no less! A sloppy game, a lot of stuff for the team to work on, but just glad we snuck out of there with the W.
Thanks to C2C and rosslynhoya for being there, and it was nice meeting rosslyn for the first time, hope you're having a good time out here on the West Coast, haha.
Anybody else attend a game watch, and if you did, how was it?
P.S. Beat Brown.

I flipped between the game and the Orioles. Pretty cool to see my Hoyas play football on TV.
