Don't know quite where this belongs on the board but reading this article about Jeff Green graduating should be required for all current and future Hoya basketball players. His quotes are a home run (or should I say game winning 3?) and prove that he's the kind of man we want representing the Hoyas in the NBA and in life. If JT3 doesn't use this article in his recruiting from here on in he's missing out. Congrats Jeff! www.guhoyas.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/051612aaa.html

CenterCourt -- thanks SO much for posting that excellent story. Jeff is a GREAT Hoya... always was, always will be. His Mom and Dad became part of the community while Jeff was here too. Clearly, Jeff was a GREAT player on the court and the leader of our Final Four team. But graduating 4 years later and being the outstanding young man he is? That's what Hoya basketball is about -- and HAS been about since (at least) the arrival of JT back in the day.
HUGE Congratulations to Jeff!

Great stuff. Congrats to Jeff.
And love the juxtaposition of the Laurie Fine thread immediately after this one. A tale of two programs...

Congratulations to Jeff. I especially like this quote: "I talked to some of the guys on the team now and they just found out I was graduating and I saw the look in their eyes," Green said. "They were like, `Wow, he really came back and he's graduating and he's in the NBA. Four years in and making x amount of money and he's still coming back to get his education.'
Well done and good health!
