8 turnovers during that last 5 minute stretch.

The lazy stuff at the end is because the refs have gotten into our minds. We are now whipped mentally and always looking over our shoulders-that's the way a fix works.

Agreed about Otto getting mugged, but also agree Jason got lazy. What the hell. That was the worst 8-10 minutes we have played in quite a while. The reffing is awful, but it is not the reason we are down....

We can't blame refs, Henry's plays were just dumb.

The discrepancy in what constitutes a foul on the opposing ends of the court right now is shocking. We can't jump near their guys without getting a foul call. On the other end Jason gets hit on head. No call. Otto and Greg run over. No call. Why do we always get handicapped with this bs

Otto needs to take over. Can't only take 3 shots in a half the way he has been playing. Just no flow. Need to come out strong and get separation early in the second half. The longer this stays close, the more that favors NC State as they have nothing to lose.

The announcers were exactly right when they said we had a chance to blow this game out. Instead, we allow 9 offensive rebounds and commit 10 turnovers. And end the half with another blown opportunity to get some momentum.
Clark is 1-5 and Sims only played about 5 minutes. It's all up to the seniors in the second half.

What an absolute shame. a 10 point lead with 5:00 minutes to go, and now be trailing by 3. Maybe the worst close of a 1st half all season.

They are 10-30, 3-6 from three, according to Yahoo. We are 8-20, 4-11. Cut down on TO's, get more shots. Out rebounded by three.

They're ahead because they've absolutely dominated us on their offensive glass at a time when our defense was otherwise terrific, and we've had absolutely no answers on offense other than hoping that our 3s go in. Maybe the former was affected by foul trouble, but the latter was true even when Henry was there. Unless we find a solution to getting some easy buckets inside, we're going to suffer long scoring droughts and that puts huge pressure on our defense.
We're basically seeing the Cincinnati recipe. Eerily similar team.

If this stuff is fixed, than it isn't any fun anymore. The NCAA will lose their tournament and all the $$$$. NCAA is really on the line now.

Barkley is dead on. Fell in love with the jump shot. Again

What Barkley didn't say was that GU was on its 3rd string center and couldn't get the ball inside.

Sloppy half, but it's not too bad to be down 3 without Henry for most of the half. No way we should lose to these guys. Come out of the break playing strong D, and we should be OK.

Barkley with a good point that Hoyas "fell in love with the jump shot" ... true, but ignores the fact that the refs took the Hoyas most reliable inside threat (Sims) off the court 6 minutes into the game.

TOs and jump shots and offensive rebounds.
Hopefully these will be fixed with Henry in the game.

Actually I am. I hate that. You may hate that but you've been bitching constantly about Hollis not hitting shots. That was a rhythm shot and if you wanted Hollis to look at his feet then shoot he would have missed. I thought I typed, i was glad he made the shot. Anyways, if it gives him confidence and brings it in the second half then it would at least serve that purpose.

When your season is on the line, I think you put Sims back in with the two fouls rather than see your large lead disappear, as well as momentum. You either lose with your best players being on the court, or you lose with your best players on the bench. I'd rather the best be on the court.
