Gotta love the gratitude Green is getting from papers and Nash, one threw some shade at Harris for being a “75 million dollar player” unable to produce anything last night while Jeff is on minimum one years, another said that he should be earning at least double digit millions per year with a multi year contract and the fact that he isn’t is puzzling KD, too. When he was interviewed after the game the other night, the first thing he said was how great Jeff had played.

It's been years since I watched an NBA game but I decided to catch a few of the playoff games this year. One thing just jumped out at me. No way any of our recent Hoya transfers would ever be good enough to play with these guys. The thought of Akinjo, McClung, LeBlanc or even Wahab matching up with these guys is absurd.

Idk what happened since I didn’t watch the game but from general reactions he only played like 11 minutes in a game that went into extra time, a lot of wasted shots by the “superstars” (esp harden apparently) and Harris once again disappoints like why not play green more who didn’t even get a chance to shoot

He’s injured that’s why. They bought him in at key moments though.

They are in a group with Canada and Greece. Canadians so far look to be the best team.

And only one team from each group gets an Olympic nod. Would be an upset if Turkey beats ut Canada, who have 8 NBA guys, including Andrew Wiggins and R.J.Barrett. I'll be rooting for the upset, but that's a tough assignment.

Top two in each bracket go through to the semis. 1 v 2 in each semi. Winner of the qualifier goes to the Olympics. Canada won their group. Greece was 2nd. Turkey won their bracket; Czechs were 2nd. Canada (coached by Nick Nurse; 8 NBA players on the roster led by RJ Barrett, Andrew Wiggins and Lu Dort) plays the Czech Republic in one semi; Turkey plays Greece (coached by Rick Pitino, only player of note is the 3rd Antetokounmpo brother). Semis on Saturday; Final on Sunday Winner will be in a bracket at the Olympics with the US, France and Iran.

and we thought we had a long-standing rivalry with 'Cuse. Greece vs Turkey goes way back in history, not so far in basketball. I remember an Olympics a few years back where the weightlifting final was a Greek vs a Turk. They've been doing that since, someone said, let's see who can lift the heaviest rock.

Too bad Murray and SGA are out injured as they would be the starting backcourt.
