Biggie is the Sandy Koufax of rap. Biggie only had two albums, but his impact on the game is not to to be questioned. Jay Z is not a great rapper, just one hell of a businessman. It takes a certain skill to have white people love your music.
Many people in UNC community think Hoyas are favorites to land Warren.

You really need to pull Reasonable Doubts and Hard Knocks Life out again..........Not the highest on Jigga but to say he isn't a great rapper is a little inaccurate.......... Landing TJ or TP would be great and I really believe we can get one of the two if KA chooses his best fit.............GTown

I'll give you reasonable doubt, but he is not top 5.
TJ Warren makes buckets and he will be a good fit for the Hoyas.

Jay-z is trashy now. Wish underrated kids like Joell Ortiz, Apathy and underground real hip hoppers would get more light and possibly revive the art.
Oh TJ we love you shunn!!

Gran Puba needs love in this thread and Slick Rick lives around the corner from Bronxitos. Why do I think that John Hinckley also lives "around the corner" from Bronxitos? Mods, is this a rap thread or a recruiting thread?

I thought Hinkley was your lover or was that Sirhan Sirhan? Gran Puba needs love in this thread and Slick Rick lives around the corner from Bronxitos. Why do I think that John Hinckley also lives "around the corner" from Bronxitos? Mods, is this a rap thread or a recruiting thread?

Gran Puba needs love in this thread and Slick Rick lives around the corner from Bronxitos. how could this discussion last that long without a slick rick mention? Jay Z has been prolific but that isnt the same thing as greatness. like cal ripken, the guy played in a million games in a row and that is an achievement, since he played so many games he had some great moments along the way and wouldnt have done it if he wasnt really good, but that doesnt get him in a discussion of the greatest players of all time. jay z has thrown down plenty of great lyrics over the years but he has, what, 700 albums he has released? he cant be mentioned as one of the greatest when he has released that many mediocre, forgetable songs. he is not in the discussion with the likes of Nas, Rakim, and Slick Rick related topic - anyone see the ATCQ movie? i really look forward to seeing that and was wondering what those who have seen it think
