Edited. Not the time for inside jokes, esp. with attention on this board from various external news sources.

This is exactly what our team needed. A bonding experience where nobody gets hurt and brings out a toughness in our team. I just want to know if JT3 got fired up. There's so many times when I want him to break character and get fired up, did a baiyi big man getting in his face and apparently threaten a punch get a rise out of him? I would pay for this footage

From Hoyasaxa website - Heard from a friend in Beijing -- apparently, it started with the Hoyas up, then the officiating took an almost comical turn, (at least 4 intentional fouls on the Hoyas and a T on coach for stepping over the sideline, in the 3rd quarter alone). Game ended as a Hoya guard was being trapped and apparently tried to shove(?) his way out of it, which led to the Chinese team converging, both benches clearing, and the bottle-tossing from the stands. 44 minutes ago ·LikeUnlike ·

Joe Hartigan Kent I was there it was disgusting how the Chinese were doing that. Terrible situation. So sad man... 37 minutes ago · UnlikeLike · 1 person You like this. Joe Hartigan Love our Hoyas we a family everyone is safe here 32 minutes ago · UnlikeLike · 1 person Loading...

Looks like Jason wasn't taking any crap.... Every picture, interview, and story I have seen involving Jason leads me to believe he's just a nice, nice guy. The way he did the interview when they got to China where a little kid is asking questions? You can just tell Jason's a good dude. So to see him jacking up someone on the other team leads me to believe that this was more than justified. And if the account on the previous page is true, then good for our guys. The stood up for themselves, III, GU, and the USA. I don't care what the media makes of it. I'm happy they got tough. Now come home.

Most unfortunate incident. Easy for me to say but turn the other cheek is the best way to handle this sort of situation where international relations are involved. Also, look for the press to play it as a return to Hoya thuggery. Very bad.

To add insult to injury, Duke will be portrayed as the all perfect, classy team whereas our boys will come across as thugs.
