I'd like to fuse current events with a classic Hoyatalk thread and a discussion that all of us on Hoyatalk are guilty of -- excessive moralizing and lawyering: Would Batman have killed Osama? Should he have? Not to excessively moralize on the topic choice, but I think the Superman topic was much better because it was two fictional characters and a complete hypothetical.

To add in another fictional character, I think it's safe to say that killing Osama was justified b/c he was resisting arrest and was a danger to the SEAL team

Good point, TBird. I think I was mis-reading the word so that the question was "who is the bigger [censored]?" But of course, that is not the meaning of the word "sinister." As a left-hander, I should know this.  |
