Bronxitos has a story for you. Back in the late 90's when the beautiful art of hip hop started to decay slowly Bronxitos used to criticize the new generation of that era for being awful. Many followers of the dying dog that was hip hop always said to Bronxitos....."if you are so great when is your album coming out or the usual how come you are not a platinum hip hop artist?" Keep in mind Bronxitos could not wrap a X-mas gift much less hold a mic properly. Years later those same guys who laughed at me and called me a hater said to me "damn you are a Edgar Cayce like visionary, how did you see so soon that hip hop as we knew it would die?" Now follow my Gtown logic from 3 years ago when I spoke of athletes and what we needed to do to improve. You may not like what I have to say but that does not mean I am wrong. Just wonder why some of the posters are not big-time college basketball coaches. They would only sign top-flight players and then not be so stubborn as to not play all of them.

Brother Jay was actually nice on the Mic. F.T.P! When Master P was getting radio play in NYC my heart weeped.....when I heard my cousins listening to Silk the Shocker I damn near died......and when they argued with me that Drag On was a ill MC I almost broke down. bring Brotha J and X-Clan back! RIP Professor X

Love JT3 like cooked food and slice bread but I am not blind and will never pretend that I am. I think he did a good job the last 2 years recruiting now it is time to see what he does with it. Just wonder why some of the posters are not big-time college basketball coaches. They would only sign top-flight players and then not be so stubborn as to not play all of them. If you could only criticize things you could do better, you couldn't really criticize very much could you? Out would go any sports decision ever, any sports play ever, politics, literature, etc etc. I mean, I can't direct a movie, but I can sure as hell tell you that Michael Bay sucks at it. And don't get me wrong, I like JTIII and glad he's our coach. He's not perfect though, and there is room to improve over the last three years.

And don't get me wrong, I like JTIII and glad he's our coach. He's not perfect though, and there is room to improve over the last three years. Coach would be the first person to admit that he is nowhere near perfect, and in fact is so far from it that he couldn't see it with a telescope. No coach is perfect, and every single coach at any level would tell you that a coach is constantly learning, hopefully improving, and incorporating his experiences each season into the development of his program and of his own coaching ability. And as I have mentioned before, 7 years actually is not that long in the life of a Div. 1 coach. Boeheim took 10 years to get to a Final Four and 27 years to win a title. Calhoun and Coach K struggled for a number of years before getting their programs to the top level. That being said, I firmly believe that the recruiting strategy we have been utilizing the last couple of years reflects Coach's recognition of some of the changes needed to keep this program moving up. I suspect he will tweak both the offensive and defensive systems to accomodate the players we have and the development they need to make. There are no guarantees that he will make all the right moves, but I prefer to believe that he will make enough of them to keep improving our Hoyas while maintaining the integrity and the class that allow us to root for our team with pride and without reservation. Given that this is a slow news day in Hoyaland, I'd like to hear more of Bronxitos's thoughts on the evolution (or devolution) of rap sincec the '90s.

Well the genesis of the problem starts in Compton California under the guidance of one Eric Wright and Jerry Heller.......this could get very long! Given that this is a slow news day in Hoyaland, I'd like to hear more of Bronxitos's thoughts on the evolution (or devolution) of rap sincec the '90s.

hahahaha @ listening to Percy & his lil brother(s).. They all suck(his son included)..... Drag on is a piece of $hit too! Master P is a legend. That TRU album, "Tru 2 da game", is a classic. But i would agree that Drag-On sucked. The LOX were overrated too as a group, especially Jadakiss. We all know Sheek Louch was wack. Styles P was only true and real talent out of that group. I'd say Styles P and DMX were the only true talents out of the Ruff Ryders camp.

Just overrated. He was never in the class of the Nas', Jay's even though he would always scream top 5 dead or alive. Even when the LOX first came out. Styles P stood out more to me, even though Jada would get all the props. Eve kinda faded away and stuck with acting after Ruff Ryders faded away. The Gwen Stefani callaboration she did kept her afloat. But after that she didn't really make much noice.

The Rough Rider movement was just OK...was not in love with it like I was with the Wu, Nas, and Big era a few years earlier. There was too much putting cats on because they had a pulse, fought on your side on your the block in 91 or he was a relative or was the local weed man who could rhyme a little in a street corner cipher. Post 1998 how many street hop classic albums have we had? 1) Grind Date 2) Be 3) Desire 4) How I got over 5) RPM's Bronxitos is sure he is missing a few but not many He is a legend, but he is also garbage on the mic. Kenner? Where are you, Kenner? I'm just hoping that my elder brain does not grasp the fact that Master P is actually a reference to the Princeton offense?
