The title speaks for itself. Outside of Lubik Working hard on the boards, the Gtown Biggs have gone missing. Henry, what goes on in your mind where you get a pass at point blank range under the basket and you decide to pass it out to Jerrelle for the three. Early in the season Henry would have dunked that basket. The Biggs have lost confidence. That has been the difference in our wins and losses. Go back and check the stats. Unless it some miraculous turn around from Henry and Julian, there will be an early exit from the show. Man Greg one more year. But I ma looking forward for next year Gtown fan for life no matter what.

Henry was a little off-balance when he caught that pass, but a strong, confident big man gathers himself and goes up with strength to the hoop, at least drawing the foul. *sigh*

That's what we need. When a key part of the team is out, that when the others have to step up their game. I agree. Would have been kinda tough. But that's what we need now. Players to make the tough plays. I think henry is the key more that Julian. Julian does not have center height and most of the time is going to have a height mismatch. Henry has not played against anyone this season who is taller than him.

Henry (and Julian) have really regressed here lately. Henry being as concerning, if not more, since earlier this year we thought he'd have to be a key to next year. (and actually was looking like he'd be productive ending his career)
If at this point in the season, you have to come out in the 2nd half with your SR and JR big men being benched, well..it says a lot.
And to be honest, after his first half performance today, I'm not ready to see Henry play next week & I'm not sure III is, either. If the 2nd half was any indication.

How is Tyler on the defensive end. Julian and Henry was making a presence on the defensive end as well. But I would agree the last 6 games has opened the center position. I was looking forward to
5) Simms 4) Lubick 3) Thompson 2) Clark 1) Starks
This would been the first season in a log time we had the right height at each position and not playing small ball. I would have loved to have had Austin Play the 2 most of the time.
But the committee still has a chance to redeem himself.

just by his width and frame, he can at least be whatever presence Henry is on that end, IMO.
hope a full Kenner League plus the trip to China gets the freshman up to speed quicker than usual. We will need them. (and I hope we get a 4th to go Tyler/Jabril/Mikael)

From what I have been reading. Mikael is soft. As JTII said. "we needs some thugs" Doesn't Michael Grahm has some eligibility.

Bit worried by the tone that was set in the second half. While Sims play was clearly very bad, it seems as if JTIII has forgotten that players during games should be acting not thinking. Skills must be learned and refined in practice so they are second nature during games. Clearly by the expressions of Sims and Vaughn during the second half, they heard a fair amount during half time. We saw last year that when allowed to Sims will start over analyzing and become useless on the court. Not giving Sims an opportunity to learn from his first half error in the second half of the Big East Tournament game, may well make him useless to us in the NCAA tournament. While JTIII is a great coach and has brought our program back to life, I worry that he rebels against JTII's game of physical dominance and because he was a guard leans towards guards and short forwards. In the game against UCONN instead of getting Sims and Vaughn an opportunity to go back in to show they learned from their mistakes, he instead let them stew. Now perhaps I am overanalyzing and Sims still has an ankle that is sore or perhaps JTIII accepted that we could not come back from being down 15 and wanted to give Ayegba some minutes in the offense since we may need his fouls and minutes in the NCAA tournament, but I hope practices this week are more upbeat than what I saw on the bench in the game yesterday, since the mood on the bench looked like poison.

I understand what you're saying, but IMO, Henry didn't deserve a chance to play in the 2nd half yesterday.
It wasn't really Henry making mistakes, he just did not come to play.

Jeff Green, Roy Hibbert and Greg Monroe say hi.

If Henry didn't want to play in the Garden then the 8-0 run is truly a paradise lost.

I'm saying, there was no over analyzing things, Henry was not lost within the system.
He just flat out gave a Edited poor effort. (i know some don't/won't agree, but that's what I saw. love the kid, but was not pleased with how he showed up yesterday)
