Harry had a great day at home though he had to return for his first day of clinic visits. I'm quite sure my 5 year old felt totally robbed as he had to go back just one day after getting sprung.
he looks good and has tolerated round one of his chemo. Starting to shop for appropriate headgear for when his hair takes a walk.
He's cool enough to pull off the bald look, but the right Hoya lid will also do just fine.
Thanks to this great extended family of hoyas for all the love, prayers and encouragement.

Stay and remain strong. When we suffered through this type of challenge with our five year old it was remarkable how observant he was and how aware he was of his parents' demeanor. You will get thorugh this and you have many people pulling for you and Harry.

Prayers offered to you Elvado ... one Dad to another. The blessing of this situation is you will know the love of your son, your family and Jesus Christ more than you could ever have known if not for Harry's illness.

'Vadi hope Harry can be entertained by a Hoya victory in their first game since he got home - and hope you get a little smile from it as well! We're all hoping for a Hoya victory, but praying for a Harry victory.

Thank you everyone. Harry had a great day at home. He played a lot and looked like his old self for many stretches. I got out of court early and got to enjoy his progress in person.
He is truly my hero and while his illness breaks my heart, I'm learning that infinite love can grow.
I'm also learning perspective and to enjoy every little moment. I can't wait to tell him all about his heroism and his extended Hoya family when he's about 40 and I'm dottering.

Thank you for the update Elvado. Tell him when he's 60 and cleaning your bedpan.... it'll make the task easier! It's great to hear that he's getting some normalcy back. While I don't have children (nephews only), I've done volunteer work in the local hospital and that's one of the toughest things for me emotionally is seeing children too sick to just be children. And, it nearly makes your heart burst with happiness when you see them healing. May he continue to heal and amaze you.

Just saw the thread, Elvado. So very sorry to hear about your fight. It sounds like Harry is as tough as they come and is going to have this disease begging for mercy. May all the love of God and his saints and angels fill his little heart. God bless and Harry Saxa.

Harry had a great week and is looking more and more like himself. He has a long hard battle ahead of him, but his smile and laughter provide all the inspiration our family needs to carry on and help him win.
The prayers and support of friends and family, both known and unknown, are not only comforting but a powerful source of strength and confidence.
I would not wish this journey on anyone, but truly believe the Lord has big plans for my son right here on earth and we as a family will be the better for this in the end.
Thank you all for your love and support.
