Harry had a great visit from the Phillie Phanatic today. Got up out of bed and stood on his own two feet without assistance for a picture and high-five. I was grinning from ear-to-ear while trying not to cry.
My little boy is bringing me great strength with the courage he is showing.
If our Hoyas are being inspired by it, more's the better.
Thanks to all for the kind words, thoughts and prayers. I can't wait to take him to a Hoya game to meet his other extended family.

I'm glad it was a special day for him amidst a bunch of bad ones. Brighter days ahead young Harry! We're all pulling for you and your family. Thank you so much for the update Elvado. Keep doing what you're doing. How many kids have a Dad that gets the Phillie Phanatic to visit their little man in the hospital? Great stuff. Well done! Harry Saxa!!

It was another great day for my little hero. He again tolerated his chemo, enjoyed his visitors and made his mother and me so very proud of his courage and spunk.
Looks like he may be home Sunday night or Monday hopefully in time to watch many highlights of a Hoya win.

Great to read about Harry and his progress. Yesterday was a World Day of the Sick and the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes, so I was thinking about and praying for Harry yesterday especially.

Thank you to everyone of you wonderful people who have taken Harry's situation into your hearts.
He got out of bed and walked around his room today, stood on tiptoes and jumped up and down. I couldn't be prouder if he had just thrown down on some loser from Syracuse.
Baby steps to be sure, but it is wonderful to see my little guy rebounding like this.

Of course we all support Harry. Things like this and Tom Walter show the real meaning of We Are Georgetown. It's not a mere chant at a basketball game.
Best wishes to Harry, you and your family.

Thank you for the updates Elvado. It's inspiring to me for sure, and I'm guessing to all of us.
Thoughts and prayers with Harry and your family.
I usually record all the Georgetown games on DVR 9and copy to DVD) so if you miss any of them, or if Harry wants to watch/rewatch our win at Cuse I'm happy to send you copies.

Elvado,
I can't tell you the emotion I was filled with reading that Harry stood on his tippy toes and was jumping. Thank you for the update. I wish and hope nothing but continued positive progress. The little man is clearly a fighter and he has a pretty great Dad from where I'm sitting. Continued prayers and love being sent Harry's and your family's way. Harry Saxa!
PS: I want to buy a Harry Saxa t-shirt or want to have one made to distribute. How do we get this done Hoyatalkers?

Cafepress.com has a fairly user-friendly way to make t-shirts. It is probably pricey relative to the mom and pop t-shirt shops, but you save in terms of having to deal with distribution.

Ambassador,
Thanks for the link. We know the colors. Who has some ideas for graphics and messages?
Sadly, I have nary an artistic bone in my body.

Harry goes home today!!!!
Long journey ahead but today my family will all sleep under the same roof for the first time in 3 very long weeks.
The love, support and prayers from this board have been a source of great comfort and inspiration to me and my family. Thank you all.
If timing holds, we watch the highlights of the Hoya win in our living room.
