Shouldn't we just be grateful that AQAP members can enjoy a turkey dinner this Thursday with their loving families? "Opportunity cost" is just a racist scam perpetuated by hypocritical populists and devious Wall Street fat cats to deprive hard working Americans from guaranteed employment for life.

Rumor early out of DC this morning is that Boehner tuned into a podcast reporting this information and observed that Al Qaeda created more jobs in the US in one day through their failed shipments than the Republic Party had created in 2 years. Then he was reminded that this is a government job so it does not count when it is created - only when its lost.

Costs for Al Qaeda, unfortunately, have gone down. When they've previously had to run videos to Al Jazeera, they've seen the ads from the Chamber of Commerce and its exotic membership and decided they had nothing more to add.

9/11 didn't cost that much either for Al Qaeda, and our reaction to it has cost us a heck of a lot of money. If you include enough stuff like the entire Iraq and Afghanistan wars, you're talking trillions of dollars.

That said, it's very nice of AQAP to boast about their plot by putting up detailed explanations of their technology, operations, and tactics. I'm sure American intelligence probably knew most of it already, but it's nice to see regardless.
