The Vault really is a trip down memory lane with the coverage of key games, memorabilia, etc. Great work.

My dad fell and shattered his kneecap about a week ago and was in the hospital over Christmas- we had Christmas in the rehab facility at Sibley and he lit up when he got his copy. Thanks for the great work, DFW!

Four copies were opened under our tree yesterday. One for me and one each for my three Hoya sons. My mother-in-law studied with interest the stories and photos from the late 40's and early 50's when my late father-in-law worked as the student trainer on the Hilltop. A real treat that he would have enjoyed. Thanks DFW.
BTW, Don Willis was definitely a DeMatha grad.

I have no clue how I missed this thread the first time around, but this item has now been ordered for me as a belated Chanukah present. I can hardly wait.

Mine came today courtesy of a very cool friend.
Slight problem, however.
The wrapping paper was dark blue with a silver bow.
The inside of the wrapping paper, however?
ORANGE.

The Vault is so good you can almost overlook it. It's a Christmas miracle! Plus, the holiday season is all about goodness and light. During such times, orange is only a color.

Outstanding.
An absolute gem of a book. As a young alumnus, I learned a LOT about Hoya history. Really a work of art and the inserts made the book fun to read.

I finally got my first, hands-on look at this book. WOW! Truly an amazing work of dedication and passion for the subject we all enjoy so very much. I read about the 1943 2nd place NCAA team, the 1970 NIT team, and the first years of the JT2 era. So many things I had not know before, and many others I'd forgotten about. But reading them again, and seeing some of the tickets, programs, list of All Americans that included Pops while at PC, just so many many gems about the program. I also noticed HoyaChris was credited with an assist on some of the writing -- nice work Chris! But for DFW... I thought this website was the pinnacle of achievements in honoring the program. But now we have The Vault. Lots of accolades preceded this one in this thread, but I still wanted to add my total endorsement of a GREAT piece of Georgetown History. As great as it is, there is still LOTS more Hoya History yet to be made... starting at MSG on Monday night. And I KNOW there will be revised and updated versions in future years. Fabulous Job DFW! Thank you!

No such thing as too many accolades in this case. I've taken to rationing pages for myself each day so I don't finish it so quickly before rereading it multiple times. Awesome.
