I saw this film today.. a documentary about the financial collapse of 2008. It is very well done, easily understood, and... perhaps most interestingly... is non-partisan. It places blame on politicians and administrations of both parties -- and, of course, on Wall St. bankers, regulators who didn't regulate, economists, and Federal officials. It traces the origins back 30 years and takes aim at the role of Wall St. money and influence.
If anyone wants to have a better understanding of what went so horribly wrong, this is a great place to start.

It doesn't open in Baltimore until 11/5, but it's on the calendar. Thanx for the heads up.

Thanks, Saxa. We should have an open thread for documentaries/films of public interest.

How can this movie go wrong? Clive Owen, Jodie Foster, Denzel? And directed by Spike Lee? Oh. Wait. Still, that was a pretty good movie too.
