I will have to email Jim to find out the real details.   Right now I don't know his real role in dictating policy on Afghanistan. My wife, especially, didn't like the build up of troops in the area, but from the WaPo article, it sounds as if he was against this surge. Whatever, Jim is a level-headed person, who has contributed much to this country. |
