Let's not go crazy here. Latavious got 30+ pages. This thread is only at 17. We've still got a lot of work to put in. If we all put in the hours, work hard on our posting weaknesses and dedicate ourselves to a group result, we can accomplish the impossible. The Princeton posting style really won't allow us to reach our lofty goals in terms of a large number of pages on any given thread. It really limits us. We will just end up waiting for the best post to present itself instead of being aggressive and hitting up this thread with rapid posting. Some of the best perspective posters don't like to post that way. We always seem to lose them to the Villanova and Syracuse boards. Ever since MCIGUY broke his hand we haven't been ourselves.

MCIGuy is a perfect fit for the Princeton posting system. Along with RDF and RBHoya, he provides a high words-per-post rating. Unfortunately, that is not the kind of Scottie Reynolds volume-posting that gets you to 30 pages.

I won't believe it until Painter actually comes out and says he's leaving. If Purdue can't hold onto alum Painter...then wow.

Painter just gaining leverage. He'll be at Purdue with a fatter contract.

I know that Matt Painter and Purdue have relevancy to Otto Porter and his recruitment, but why is this a national story?

This recruitment is shaping up to last a few more weeks, at least.
Mizzou without a coach and now the dead period kicks in tomorrow through April 7th.
If he intends on visiting at least KU and us, mid April is the absolute earliest this would wrap up. as I would assume he'll give whoever the new Mizzou coach is a chance and maybe still take a trip to Arkansas...that happens, it drags into May.

To be fair I don't think we will see a transfer until after the banquet on April 12th so Otto, or anybody else for that matter, couldn't really verbal before then anyway.

I wouldn't write off Tennessee, either, so we may also reports from a visit to Knoxville to dissect. We'll need Moses-style commitment suspense to get this thread to Latavious territory.

To get to Latavious status, we're also going to need some people to post pad a little here.
I'm happy to contribute.
