Maybe the twins will come back to Kansas to try it one more time. That would also help.

If he wants playing time right away, that may not be the ideal place to go if they return. Couple that with the fact that Kansas is coming into the picture late....we'll see

Watch for Tennessee to try to make a play for Porter now that Cuonzo Martin has taken that job. Word had been that the Porters were impressed with Martin at Missouri State. Martin could sell Porter on being a centerpiece player for the Vols.

A lot of uncertainty out ther, let's get this guy on campus and try to get him locked up as soon as possible before anyone else gets involved. Won't be easy with kansas now involved, but our rep for sending big men to the League has to be emphasized.

JT3 should be able to win this by default.

With all due respect, I think it's impossible to say "JT3 should be able to win this by default" about any recruit. When all is said and done, high school players will make a decision based on all of the information they have at their disposal.
For any recruit, it is John Thompson III's responsibility to present information about Georgetown in the best light possible and to do his best to recruit each player of interest. Ultimately, it is each recruit's decision. We have to remember that these students are 16 or 17 year old kids, and they make decisions for a variety of reasons.
When this is combined with Georgetown's lack of facilities, it is difficult to say that any recruit should go to Georgetown by default solely because of John Thompson III's efforts.

JT3 should be able to win this by default. Bronxy....I am actually one of the few on this board who is entertained by your antics....but this makes no sence. We should all jump up and down with joy if we land Otto....but chances are we don't get him.

Kansas is late and they are recruiting McLemore at the same position......Mizzou is going to have a different style of play with a new coach if it is Painter. One of our best Hoya fans on this very site said his father wants him to be a Hoya. That is enough for Bronxitos.

McLemore's recruitment won't affect Porter's recruitment. McLemore is 6'5 and plays the 2. You can play him at the 3 if you want to go small. Porter is 6'8 and plays the 3/4. Different players, different skill sets. But enjoy the posts Bronxie.

The kid's father a former college b-baller is said to want him as a Hoya. This has been told to us by one of the most respected older Gods on this very site. The father is very involved in his recruitment so Bronxitos will tend to feel as though we get him.

This is definitely getting into Latavious Williams territory. To me, the fact that incoming freshmen ball players will report to campus in 3+ months and this kid has never been on Georgetown's campus (if that's true) indicates how interested he is in really coming here. Maybe there is some missing piece of information here to make sense of it.

Has he made any visits other than Missouri? If he hasn't then he is truly playing the waiting game to see where all the coaching changes shake out. Seems smart if he has waited this long to wait a bit longer.
If the other posters are right and his father wants him to be a Hoya, we will get a visit.
