From John Feinstein's next column in the Post: " Serious kudos to Georgetown, which has owned the Patriot League cellar in recent years the way Duke controls the same spot in the ACC. The Hoyas are now 2-0 in conference play after Saturday's 17-7 victory over 2009 champion Holy Cross."Of course, being John Feinstein, he couldn't resist a basketball jab: "Imagine: Georgetown off a fast start and no sign of St. Leo's on the schedule. "St. Leo hasn't been on a basketball schedule in 13 years. It's like a stand-up comic telling jokes about Eisenhower. www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/09/27/AR2010092703500.html

Dog Bites Man news here DFW; all of us know that Potato Head is the Shecky Greene of sportswriters... Nevertheless, he did acknowledge GU FB in a column and took another gratuitous shot at FB at his alma mater (Duke)....

Ever since JT3 took over, our out of conference scheduling has seriously improved, recently being among the toughest in the nation. Andy Katz seems to write about how tough our schedule is every year now. I guess it's nice of him to complement Georgetown football. Still a cheap shot at basketball though. Just put it in his file: I'd love to see all the shots he has taken at Georgetown over his career.
