Duh.
Before the season starts, he will unretire, say that he's taking his talents to South Beach, and join the Dolphins.

What's more pathetic--Favre doing this or the media falling for it? He's trying to get more $ out of the Queens and his wife already renewed her memberships to some establishments in Minnesota--and word that was passed onto me was that indecisive one was catching crap from teammates behind the scenes for not being in camp while they were--so he had to play up the "hero" card and built in excuse card--as he's done and most insecure, psychopaths do--where they are "hurt" and a "warrior" for playing-but if they dont' play well--"remember he was hurt...."
Guy is one of the biggest A-holes to walk the planet--but thank goodness he's also one of the most overrated A-holes to play the game--so the karma gets him--with his bumpkin boy picks sealing the deal for all of us who would love to see phony people get humiliated

I'm so glad that the Vikings have to deal with this cr*p now, not the Packers.

The Vikings' bye is in Week 4. I won't believe Favre is staying retired until Week 5.

I mis-posted. I meant to ask the over/under on RDF responding to the news.

I mis-posted. I meant to ask the over/under on RDF responding to the news. I'd give anything to see Farve, at his press conference, say he's not sure if he's retiring and say Georgetown should play small ball this year. RDF's head might explode.

I'm really sick of the NFL not doing anything. I would love to see a mandatory retirement date. Either declare you're active by August 1st or you're ineligible for the season. I'd love to see an earlier date so you can still draft/get free agents but I'm trying to be reasonable and not start hitting things right now.

Last year was perfect scenario-all of these Queen fans who believed he was going to lead them to promise land.....and put aside their hatred for him get their hearts crushed when he Bumpkins up the game--to the point they/NFL cry and complain about the fact Bumpkin Boy didn't get the ball in OT to have a chance to win--which last time I checked wasn't that last drive in regulation the opportunity to win the game that he "Bumpkin'd"? BTW, only person more happy then Saints fans that Queens didn't get the ball was Bumpkin Boy--who would've found another way to lose--or maybe Peterson would've fumbled--either way--that game was done the minute the Hillbilly Jesus F'd it up and nothing is of greater joy then seeing phony people get their "moment" of reality.
Only would've been a more fitting end to the season if that INT went for a TD with him watching/running from play--as he always does--but never gets ripped for--yet when it's one of his fake tough guy/phony blocks--he gets praised. NFL coverage of Favre and protection of his stupidity as a player is disgusting. "He's just trying to make a play" is what they say of him--but anyone else is "pressing", "made an ignorant decision..." etc...but not Bumpkin Boy.

RDF is turning into crazy cat lady, except he'll be flinging Brett Favre bobbleheads at people instead of kittens.
;D
I think I agree with your points.
As for me, I plan to ignore Brett Favre this pre-season. I think if we all band together to do that, he very well might disappear.
*Poof!*
Or, to put it another way.....
"To stop Brett Fah-Vruh 1-2-3, Here's a fresh new way that's trouble-free, It's got Paul Anka's guarantee... (Guarantee void in Tennessee.) Just don't look! Just don't look! Just don't look! Just don't look! Just don't look! Just don't look!"
