If Jabril is the most prolific tweeter we've ever had. He's the natural evolution from Henry Sims - this kid is going to break the all time tweet record before he leaves Georgetown. Oh, and be a pretty good player too.
Sidenote - Jabril, get some damn sleep. No one is reading your tweets from 3:30am on a Tuesday dude.

This kid actually has a pretty good stroke. Seems like right now he can at least spot up from 3 and hit some shots. Plus this team sorely needs someone with his ability and willingness to take the ball to the hoop. The more I see/hear of this kid, the better I think he will be for us.

This looks like more of an awkward first date than an interview.

Well, to get a little of the subject this kid is going to be a really SPECIAL player for the Hoyas...Jabril Trawick played in the All Star Labor Classic, he played on the suburban team, and he played the Philly city teams (public and maybe private in the city idk), anyways he balled out. Does anyone have realistic/accurate idea of which of our recruits can/will have an impact on the floor next year?

Trawick - yes. Whittington - maybe. Adams - limited/only good for D. Hopkins - depends on his motor/doubt it.
Thats where my expectations are at this point.

If we sign Otto, he probably has the best chance to play significant minutes, especially if he is being recruited because a projected 2011-12 starter is leaving. I don't see the four listed above getting significant minutes, at least at the start of the season. I don't think any scouting report I have read has characterized the four above as immediate impact, high major players. But Jeremy Lamb wasn't a Top 10 recruit and he has certainly played like one this year. You never know how things pan out.
It would be really nice if one of our incoming freshman can provide some ability to create opportunities on offense.

"A projected 2011-2012 starter is leaving"? That would be very, very bad if it's the player I think you're talking about...

Where are you guys getting this from about a possible starter leaving? The only person I have heard this from is Ranch Dressing, speculating that Hollis is leaving because we are recruiting a bunch of sf's. Now maybe he has information, idk, but it is interesting he is seemingly overlooking the fact that 1) we were very thin at the SF position this year and we are losing Austin and 2) There are players below Hollis on the depth chart at that position that could be more likely to leave. This is probably too much speculation for the board, as there maybe no one leaving as I don't think we are over the scholarship limit yet and recruiting is recruiting.

Hollis isn't going anywhere. A "projected" 2012 starter? Projected by whom?

Yeah, I don't want to speculate on who is transferring (altho I think the sheer fact that we're still looking to sign Porter is an indication that someone probably will be leaving), but why do some people think it's Hollis?

If Hollis is leaving, we're in serious trouble. Like, not going to be .500 type of trouble. I think with Clark and Hollis leading the way, there's a chance we'll be a NCAA Tournament team next season. But I wouldn't bet on it.

I'd love to be surprised by Hopkins and have his production begin to match his body and skill level. I want to believe there's a reason that Bill Self wanted him at Kansas. To me, he's a guy that could surprise. To me, Trawick's up against Bowen for potential PT at the backup wing position. From everything I've read and seen of Trawick, I expect him to attack this offseason and come ready to play next year. Not sure what to expect from Bowen.

MOD NOTE: Posters need to read the rules again. Speculation about specific current players transferring is not allowed. This includes veiled speculation about specific players - simply not typing the player's name does not get around this. Posts will be deleted going forward.
