Congrats to the men's team!
How come the men can host a Tournament game at its home field and the women could not? I thought the issue was the size of the field.

One possible reason was the turf on the MSF. Why they couldn't just have a day game for the women I don't know.

Great results Hoyas. Beat the Tar Heels!!! Lots of Director's Cup points this fall. Yup, at a bare minimum, based on current tourney wins by men's and women's soccer, and simple participation in the NCAA m/w champs, we'd be at 138 points for the fall. Every additional win, (or move up from last place in the Cross-country championships) moves the total higher. As a point of comparison, last year, which was our highest scoring/ranking in the Directors Cup in about 5 years (70th place), the Hoyas had 62 points in the fall, and 265 overall. The program is currently over half that total, and could possibly even eclipse 265 in just the fall sports! www.nacda.com/directorscup/nacda-directorscup-current-scoring.htmlWell done, Georgetown athletics. (Now imagine what we could do with some facilities!)

The winning formula against UNC is simple. Someone finish a chance early, go to the 4-5-1 and get numbers behind the ball, look to steal another goal on a restart. Burnett needs to have a big game marking Dixion (4 pts). Dixon makes everyone look slow so you have to contain. Put a body to Martinez (22 pts), Urso (13 pts) and Farfan (13 pts) whenever they touch the ball and double in the attacking 1/3. Prevent slotted balls- that's Dillon's responsibility, Brutto needs to have his "A" game between the pipes, Neumann needs to pull out some more Frosh magic, C'deBaca and Diggs need to defend! Tembon who can defend needs to have more minutes. Don't give the ball away in the middle 1/3. Slingerland and Muller need to stay organized and clear, clear, clear. See, it's simple! GO HOYAS.

The brackets are all chalk for the day it seems. Hoyas bringing some pressure early. 0-0.

guess it's just audio, but still better than just game tracker.
and not all chalk. Michigan st. beat #13 seed butler. Winner of our game gets them.
also Brown beat Seeded Uconn on PKs.

I'm feeling a late score for the Hoyas just like the women.
