men down 1-0 at half against DC United not all their starters but most are playing. could be 1-1 but goal was called back due to offsides. reportedly they lost their scrimmage against george mason 1-0. goal was scored with our reserves were in.

in other men's soccer news. USF handed #1 akron their first loss in regulation in over 2 years. Unfortunately for the bulls it was only an exhibition, but probably a good sign of things to come for them. Luckily for us we don't play them in the regular season.

The men started off the season on the right foot with a dramatic 2-1 double overtime victory over northeastern. Uche scored a dramatic second goal to win the game in the second overtime period. The hoyas struck first on a goal by jose. The surrndered a goal late in the game though sending the game t overtime.
There is now a student section behind the goal closest to the leavy center. It's a lot of fun. People should come out on sunday for the next mens game.
