Will be at Drake this week. A bunch of recent and older alumni will be running in the senior meet and some present students running in the junior meet.
For the women Christine Whalen and Rene Tomlin will be running in the 800m, Maggie and Emily Infeld running in the 1500m, Liz Maloy in the 5000m, and Natasha LaBeaud will be competing in the 10000m. Also, Monica Hargrove has a qualifying time in the 400m, but she has not declared yet.
For the men Andrew Bumbalough has a provisional time in the 5000m, so that is pending, as is the case with Michael Krisch in the 10000m.
In the junior meet Andrew Springer is qualified in the 1500m and 5000m. Justin Crawford is qualified in the 110H, Emily Jones in the 3000m and 5000m and Rachel Schneider in the 1500m. Recruit Billy Ledder might run in the 800m. Bobby Peavey has pending times in the 1500m and 5000m and Ben Furcht has a pending time in the 10000m.

Michael Krisch has been accepted and has declared and will be running the 10000m. Also, Bobby Peavey is qualified in the 1500m and 5000m and Ben Furcht in the 10000m. Monica Hargrove has declared. Also, two I missed yesterday: Liam Boylan-Pett is running in the 1500m and Lauren Gregory in the 3000m SC. Matt Debole scratched out of the 1500m and 5000m. And Billy Ledder has declared in the 800m.

Great experience for Emily. Only a soph next year she and Jordan Hasay should be favorites for the NCAA mile/1500 titles.

Lauren's run might be a PR, and if so a school record. She has run 10:14.8 before, so if she did not run any faster races, this would be the school record.

All three Hoyas in the 800m heats qualified for the semis. Treniere seems to be attempting the double. Her time indicates that she is in good shape. Christine and Renee ran well, right around their PRs. They were the 3rd and 4th finishing college runners.

Another two Hoyas qualify for the finals, as the sisters Infeld made the top 12. Treniere did not start as the 1500m heat was just about an hour after the 800m.

There has been a resurgence in women's middle distance running in this country, so the finals will be tough for Maggie and Emily, but great experience. Potential for good times.
