Certainly since I started watching them in 94-95. None would come close really, even Davidson which I contend was still at least half the fault of the refs. How about before then? James Madison in 1981 maybe? Thoughts? This had it all, a blowout against a very bad team called "Ohio."

Class of 92 here... have never seen anything worse... Princeton was up there, but we managed to win that one. complete debacle.

Has any top 3 seed lost this badly in the first round?

I can't remember anything even close since about 1982...... Losing a National Title game by 1 pt is "humiliating"? This takes cake for me as a fan-a Georgetown team not ready to play in an NCAA game and allowing 97 pts and wide open shots. Congrats to Ohio U--they DOMINATED FROM TIP and DESERVED THE WIN!

Most points given up in ANY Georgetown post-season game and that's saying a lot.

Last year had more embarrassing losses, IMO. Much more.
Not in the NCAAs of course, but that's part of the reason.

St. John's game where they dressed 6 players and played 2 walkons and a 350 lb guy who couldn't get up and down the court.

On the brightside it was pretty painless. agree. i thought this team was going to suffer a vanderbilt type loss when we finally went down. this game was such a joke that i can continue watching the tourney, which i couldn't do in 2008 post-davidson.
