WOW, Villanova fans must have been saying their novenas all weekend after their BET plans were canceled. No excuse for the Wildcats coming up anything shy of Elite Eight with that draw.
I like Louisville to knock off Duke.

Well, yeah, it sucks to be in Kansas' bracket, but I'm sorry, Tennessee and Ohio State don't really scare me all that much.
Yes, they're good teams, but if we play the way we played the BET, we'll beat both of those teams, should we end up meeting them.
If we don't we could easily lose, but as we've seen all season, it doesn't take a good team to beat us if we're not playing well.
(sorry for all the "we"s)
In other words, Georgetown's success -- at least for the first three games -- will be determined entirely by Georgetown, not by the opponent.
But yeah, even if all those games work out, Kansas is a bitch no matter how well Georgetown is playing.

What happened to the S curve? WVU is apparently the top 2 seed, but ends up playing the 2nd 1 seed. Other examples abound.

They just need to throw out the stupid ass S-curve. It just doesnt make any sense. Just say that you need to work around regions and conferences and call it a day. There is no way you can tell me that OSU is the last 2 seed? That is absurd.

Pomeroy also rates Tennessee as the 8th most efficient defense in the country.

It does seem that when you get these "loaded" brackets (like ours appears to be) you end up getting upsets......as long as we're not one of them!!

All they had to do was switch WVU and Nova. If WVU is the 5th best and you don't want to put them in the Syracuse region, then put them with Duke. No reason to slide them past Nova except as a favor to Duke.

Since it is their show, CBS is throwing this scrub UCLA AD softballs. I want to hear Bilas et al. at 7pm - he is going to tear the process apart.

That just unbelievable.

Syracuse has an easy bracket but Butler is the one team that is a really bad matchup for Syracuse's 2-3 zone. If that game happens Syracuse could lose.
Dook is also in an easy bracket.
Kentucky has an incredibly hard bracket.
Kasnas/Hoyas bracket is also tough. I think the Hoyas side is easier but Tennessee is the kind of team that can give us problems (Long, athletic, rebounds like WVA and ODU) so I hope they get upset in the first round.

Tennessee can't shoot and they're not even that great a rebounding team this year. Honestly, I like that match-up for us. Overplaying man defense and poor shooting on offense? Gotta like the Hoyas. I actually think they could lose to SDSU.
Ohio is awful. No way that game should be close.

Villanova seeded ahead of West Virginia, WTF? The West Virginia fans probably don't travel well. I think alot of seeding/regions is determined by how well/how many of the fans can travel to the games.

We should be okay to Sweet 16, but Ohio State and Kansas in St. Louis is a ridiculous draw.
The BCS Football Schools that run the NCAA want us DEAD. We can maybe come up with one hostile court upset in the MW, but two will be near impossible.
In the spirit of truth, justice, and the American Way, I hope our guys have the guts and perseverance to make the NCAA look like Turkeys. We will need to not make any mistakes.
