Just looked at Ohio' schedule. The only common opponent I see is Pitt. Pitt beat them on December 22--- 74-49.
That's the only major conference team Ohio played.

Nova's resume is similar to ours... but I don't get how we get in Kansas' bracket.

Here is what I think of our draw - pray for upsets Tennessee and OSU really, really need to lose. You never know. SDSU could definitely give Tennessee a game. OSU is living the high life lately, maybe someone will get them.

Duke's the #3 overall seed and gets the play-in game winner? I know, WTF

Nova's resume is similar to ours... but I don't get how we get in Kansas' bracket. Exactly. I am still in shock at how much more difficult the Midwest region is compared to the other regions. It is like the committee was jacked up on painkillers when they put that region together.

So, wait the committee doesn't even know their own rules? Did something change?

with 3 teams in the same region, are they trying to keep the Final Four and Elite 8 from being so Big East heavy?

Nova would have to play Baylor in Houston. That seems fair (and yes, I realize Waco is not close to Houston).

The top #3 seeds in the East are Duke, Nova, and Baylor?? And they get the play-in winner?

The NCAA must really hate us. To get to the final 4 we have to beat both OSU and Kansas in the Midwest.

Nova could easily get to the final four I can't believe the committee had Nova higher than Ohio State overall, but am wondering whether the difficulty of balancing the 8 BE teams created an issue.

I like Greg Anthony. A lot of his comments are spot on. And, he is quick in his analysis. He is right - Siena might seriously be favored over Purdue.

From the Ohio message board:
"No doubt we got the worst 14 seed, but we have the advantage at least when it comes to coaching."
Who's their coach?

Last time we were in Kansas' bracket we were a second round exit. Could easily happen again with Tennessee our likely second game if we survive Ohio.

It's not like they did a good job of it. Three teams in one bracket? Twice making a matchup in the Sweet Sixteen?

Duke gets the play-in game because they're playing at a Friday pod and Kansas and Kentucky are playing on Thursday. I wouldn't sweat it.
KenPom ratings have Tennessee barely better than San Diego State (Vols, 52.5%). I believe that just like I believe Maryland is the 10th best team in the country.
