Okay, so if we want to beat USF, don't shoot airballs on open threes that let them get on fast breaks. I think we can handle that.
Oh, and don't miss 5 or 6 layups per half.

yea game over....yikes
honestly it's all aboutus...I don't think this statement can be any more true for the Hoyas this year....if we play like we can/should doesn't matter who we are playing.
trail of revenge starts tomorrow....let's get it!

Can we change the title to the thread yet? I was hoping Depaul would at least get USF to exert some mental energy. Doesn't look like so far.

I want to play USF. They are a tournament-quality team, and any experience against a tournament team is helpful for us. They are a 10-11 seed, and, if we do what we should, we may face a team like that in the 2nd round.

USF deserves to be in, and they're playing as well as they have all season right now. I think we should be only the slightest of favorites tomorrow. The boys better be awake and raring to go, or its going to be a quick exit.

I wouldn't write DePaul off just yet.

south florida playing like a bunch of dunderheads right now.
Does DoJo have range out to 3? He doesn't appear to look for his perimeter shot too often...

This may very well be the worst basketball game I have ever seen.
And I watched the Temple game!

Georgetown-WVU in Esherick's last year is the worst I've seen. Ever. And since it was held in Morgantown, it wins the tie-break of location.

At least USF is having to work for the game (my observation based purely on boxscore tracking - curse workplace firewalls!)

Why does Depaul have to be so bad? They could be winning this game if they could just do simple things like pass it to the right team on a fast break and make an open shot or two.

Has USF hit a jump shot all game?

I'm thinking we should consider playing zone. USF doesn't shoot great from 3. The key to stopping USF is keeping jones out of the lane. Either that or have jason play off him to try and stop penetration.

USF is terrible. We beat them tomorrow by double digits if we stay out of foul trouble.
