He would still talk about Syracuse. There would be 3 or 4 segments about Syracuse as a #1 seed in the NCAAs. and 20 minutes on the Rautins' matching his and his tattoos. oh god that was unbearable.

according to a voice tweet Julian threw up at the under 12 time out? not the best source, but I hope he's ok. Maybe he was just so disgusted with the referring. From ESPN.com: "After a timeout in the first half, the 6-foot-9 junior walked over to a bucket sitting courtside and promptly vomited. Vaughn didn't even bother to get a drink of water, wiping his face on his jersey and heading back onto the court moments later." What's going on? Cafe31itis?

If, by "insufferable," you mean "better than 90% of all other color analysts," then I agree with you. I'm fine with Doris. From the little I could hear at lunch, she sounds like she likes GU. Doris and Fraschilla were dropping knowledge. Not the kinda material for 30 sec. commercial highlights (e.g. "Send it in Jerome"), but Doris knows the game and the teams...liked that she pointed out Henry's communication on D, subtle but a huge deal from a def. chemistry standpoint...also didn't know that the under the basket ref watches for body contact and the other refs are responsible for catching the goaltend. Hope those two call our next game. Still waiting for tourney time to get some Gus Johnson madness.

If you think that is vintage Gus J, you should dig up his call of the final minutes of Gonzaga-UCLA from the NCAA tourney 2006 (I believe). Best. Gus. Johnson. Call. Ever.

Judging by the board, you'd think we were losing this game instead of being up 20. This game hasn't really been in doubt since the first 5 minutes of the game. While officiating can be frustrating, complaining about it does nothing. It doesn't change the scoreboard. All we can hope for is that our players are resilient enough to overcome bad calls, smart enough to alter their play depending on how the game is being called and play well enough so that a game isn't determined by a bad call at the end. Let's beat Cuse tomorrow! My sentiments completely. Missed the game, but looking at this thread, I am glad I looked at the score, before I read it.

The Gonzaga call was classic. My personal favorite, and what should probably be our collective favorite, was TJ Sorrentine hitting the dagger 3 against Cuse from the parking lot. Crawford-for-3 comes in at a close second.

Good win. Ill never understand the criticism of Doris. She is always spot on at the collegiate and nba level. Her voice is not that flattering, but what comes out her mouth is usually spot on analysis. I dont get it. There are a large portion of people who just dislike a female voice talking about sports. I'm not saying the people criticizing on here have that reason, but it grates on a lot of men. There are also a large portion of people who just LIKE a female voice announcing men's sports just because it's the PC thing to do.

Jason for the day: 6 for 10, 4 for 6 from the 3, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, zero turnovers and 16 points. Not too shabby.
Anyone think when we signed him that Benimon would see 24 minutes in a BET game? And contribute?

You don't like Doris, Ed?
I think she's a cut above most and a bit below Bilas. She knows the game, rarely overplays things and does her homework.

Great game today for the fellas. I'm so pleased I won't even mention that we again failed to take the last shot of the first half (contested Wright 3 with 10 seconds left). It never even occurred to me.

Great game. Plays were made when necessary. GM seemed a little more sensitive than usual, but I can get used to that.
Doris gave HS some good i-pod material.
Much was made of his agressive posture in the paint in ZD, including a replay. Hot stuff for HS!

Great game played by t he hoyas. Only got to watch of first half without sound at a bar.
One thing I have to give Dominique Jones some credit, the kid has some great moves and a ton of heart. Mid first half he makes this insane move taking the ball to the hole and converting on a circus vargus 3 point play. Unreal, and I was lip reading but I swear he said defiantly "im not giving up, im not giving up". I respect that...

Get any kind of quality team around him—you know, maybe a jump shooter or two—and he could be a huge part of a winner.

I was more impressed with his drive/passes to start the second half.

I was more impressed with his drive/passes to start the second half. Its not too hard to look good at dishing when an entire conference is used to you taking those shots all year.

2nd straight game where we allowed 0 points in transition (11-0 GU), and won the points off turnover battle (12-8 GU). Absolutely critical to make sure this continues tomorrow.
