The freshmen outscored the juniors. They kept us in the game. Need the Freeman show in the 2nd half.

Chris Wright with another stellar half of basketball. We're getting more production out of Vee. Actually I was thinking that Vee gave us more than Jason on BOTH ends of the floor.

Agreed on the Sosa traveling multiple times and getting bailout calls. This game is there for the taking. oyas must play with aggression and attack the press and push the ball whenever they have numbers.
PS Am I insane for questioning why Vee Sanford couldn't have gotten a few minutes during every game this year? Even if he comes in and just harasses the opposing guards bringing the ball across midcourt. Like a 1 man press. Vee is sound and he seems to play tough defense. Hollis has played some good D tonight.

We continue to be in a shooting slump--Austin in particular. It would help if we ever forced any turnovers.
Its astonishing all of the ways we were unable to get a basket in the final minute.

CW is playing is his john wallace mode. steady ballhandling, setting up offense, taking open 3's (difference is that he's missing them). i preferred him in midseason combo wallace/wright mode when he was steady with the ball but also actively looking to drive and finish or dish.

When Wright/Freeman/Clark aren't hitting shots--especially 3s--this team looks below average in a hurry.

JT3 is pretty high on Vee. I think if he thought he could play, he would play him.
We say the same thing about Henry, then complain about how lost he looks when he gets in.

Agreed on all points Big Dog. Seems like Austin stoppe shooting after missing his first two jumpers...had an open one on left wing a few possessions later and passed it up. We need him big time.
And absolutely, we need fastbreak points of turnovers.

BIG DOG- we dont extend our defense and force turnovers like VILLE. Our guards certainly have it in them especially clark withhis wing span.

Chris Wright is not helped when he flashes to the rim and receives the sweet Monroe bounce pass...... in the middle of 3 front court players who are all a foot taller than he is.
I know that is a "feel" pass from Monroe, but somebody needs to adjust and have Austin make that cut.
Lots of open looks on offense but not finishing well.
Defense did not do a good job of closing out on 3-point shooters (not news) or keeping the ball out of the lane (also not news) but the defensive rebounding has been much better.
Hollis looks much more confortable and Vee has been excellent in limited minutes.
Monroe HAS to finish better than 5-13.

Someone explain why with four games to go in the regular season Vee Sanford is put in? Why wasn't he developed during the season with some playing time? Is is because JC is ineffective or because VS is from Kentucky?

When Wright/Freeman/Clark aren't hitting shots--especially 3s--this team looks below average in a hurry. Well, how many teams look GOOD when their starting back court can't hit any shots?

maybe if someone other than monroe shot the ball. despite what the idiot Kellog is saying the middle is wide open if monroe would get out of the lane once and a while . what did he take 14 shots. clark isnt just invisible he's a liability.
and wright isn't forcing anything but if this continues he may have to
