As a conservative, I actually can say I like Harold Ford. Sure, I disagree with him on a lot of stuff, but I think he offers a good viewpoint on most issues, and doesn't get too distracted with the nonsense.
I wouldn't vote for him, I don't think, unless he was running against a crazy, but I respect him.
Interested to hear why you or other Dems/libs think he is embarrassing.

Bad taste in women = bad taste in policy.

I don't have too much of a dog in the fight, but, as a preliminary matter, Harold Ford voted for the IWR - a vote that raises questions about his judgment in my view as it does with others.
